Too many spiders! I don't know if this is an ongoing issue, or just unfortunate when we stayed, but we had the twin room and there were at least a dozen spiders around the room and bathroom. And then there was the dog barking in the hallway after we had already gone to bed. Otherwise, the hotel is well appointed, the service is friendly, and the breakfast is nice.

The owner had phoned the previous day to check our arrival time and it was lovely to have had that contact . Rob gave us a lovely welcome with tea and delicious brownies!The property was well presented and very clean.The bedroom was very nice and the beds comfortable. The shower was hot. Free toiletries were great .Breakfast was lovely and Rob was happy to stop and chat with us. Overall a great stay . Would thoroughly recommend .

Very friendly on arrival - offering a coffee and some lovely Brownie as a welcome. The breakfast was also lovely and the hotel is well positioned near to town and parks. I would highly recommend a stay. I should also point out that I nearly did not stay here because it was a shared bathroom. It turned out to be one bathroom between 2 rooms and it was very clean and right outside my bedroom. Great hotel and very friendly owners & staff.
