We were drawn by the front porch. And we were not disappointed. During our stay, there were 2 rainy days. Instead of being cooped up inside, we read books and played games on the porch. It was like having an extra room. The kids ate breakfast out there each day watching birds, counting boats, drawing, whittling, and enjoying the view.
If you aren’t used to it, the high iron content makes the drinking water not taste great. Consider bringing your own drinking water.
A note: the “coffee pot” is a Keurig (bring K-cups, not grounds) and if tea is your drink, bring a tea kettle.
Over all, a great stay in a great house with a great quiet neighborhood, and a great view.
