The room was fine and the staff friendly and helpful. The carpet was the only problem. Both my husband and I walked barefoot in the room and out feet were black on the bottoms. We then wore socks and they also were black shortly after. The carpet was a little sticky as well and definitely needed cleaning.

It was our 2nd stay there. Was there a year ago and thought it was an average facility. Thought we would stay again. However, this was well below average. There was a little stain on the sheet and when we pulled it up found a large old blood stain on the mattress. Made you feel, "oh how clean is everything else". There was another bed so we slept on that. Next morning got up to take a shower and could not get the water to turn on for the tub/shower. Finally with enough effort got a slow dribble out of the faucet, needless to say did not get a chance to clean up. Went to front desk for check out and present out issues. Attendant was nice, said it was very gross looking and offered to discount our room charge byu $10. I said "really", "there are two basic things I expect - a clean bed and a hot shower". I got my sleep but did not get to clean up. She said that was all she was allowed to do and then said she would credit us $20 and talk with the owner when he comes in for anything more. I thanked her and left. It has been a week and I have not heard from the owner so nothing has been adjusted. I gave them a chance to win the customer back but they failed the oppurtunity and I will not be back and would not encourage anybody to stay there. There are other choices without a large increase in cost.

I've stayed at a number of Days Inn, it's a cost factor, this location was definitely one of the better Days Inn that I've stayed at. The staff was extremely friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast wasn't that bad, only down fall was the bathroom needs an update.

Take this hotel off your list
I pulled my team out of tbat place after.one night. The place was unsafe and dirty. They found a dead mouse in the room and the room was in awful stste. Their was also drug attics and drug activity going on which left my team in an unsafe environment.

Very convenient to the Lucas County fair which is why we stayed here. Right off the turnpike but quiet. Decent hotel for a one night stay. Updated room. Two lower ratings were due to the floor being sticky and the bathroom fan needing to be replaced—very loud. Limited breakfast but okay. Would stay here again.

Location, service, breakfast and parking all amazing. I would say 4 stars over all only because the faucets where installed wrong in our room. Hot was cold and cold was hot; also the sink faucet wasn't sealed so if any water got on the counter top it would drip on to the floor.
