Nice staff. Had issues with door lock/card and had to change rooms. Had a problem With TV staying connected but got it fixed. Kids loved the pool. I’d stay here again.

For a La Quinta, surprised at the noise levels from above & neighboring rooms as well as hallway; expected better noise suppression. TV remote needed new batteries & had to be done by staff; didn't bother to ask cos only sleeping there. Room lighting on dim side - especially bathroom - plenty of lamps but no adequate overall lighting. Breakfast was great - prompt refilling of coffee canisters when empty, mini- & full-size waffle makers plus good yogurt, bagels & toaster, syrup, scrambled eggs, apple & orange juices along with regular & 2% milk. No tea bags, though; but Swiss Miss instant cocoa ok. Won't be choosing La Quinta again, at least not in Decatur - Baymont so much better!

Room was clean but no hot water. We were only staying one night so we didn't report it. Staff was very nice and friendly. Always saw someone cleaning lobby area. Breakfast was so-so.

First was given room someone was already in then room given next 303 the AC did not work very well and the toilet in the bathroom was not working properly. Had to take lid out and unstick float just to get the tank to fill with water to flush

Fold out couch mattress dirty. No linens for the executive suite. No staff available because they were all having dinner. Staff didn't know what linens it took to make a bed. At early morning, 8 am no breakfast, no coffee and no one refilled in the hour and half till breakfast over. Repainting crew for curbs blocked in car. Not LaQuinta standards I'm used to.

Where do I start about two dozen dead crickets all over the floor in my room, a nasty cockroach in the stairwell… Broken down air conditioning units, and spare parts laying around the property in the parking lot. Air conditioner was leaking a lot of water into my room. They advertise a free breakfast, but will make food one time and not have enough for everybody there not to mention the food was terrible. They let other customers walk around in their nasty bare feet. The water in my bathroom smelled funny. I can go on and on about this place… I will never be back.
