Great place to stay where you can relax..The beach is across the street which is so beautiful! The staff is easy going, they not strict about animal policy, and they dont require a deposit, and you can use any card you want to pay! I love it here, and I'm staying her for awhile!

This property is dilapidated and has been hit by high force winds. The staff is so kind and tries super hard but they also use a cleaning product that smells strongly and irritates my nose. When walking on the tiled areas I felt a slimy gross feeling on the soles of my feet. The felix sweet has peeling wallpaper and a musty smell. The rooms with balcony is ok but many people smoke and the fresh ocean air is gross mixed with the scent of a burning cigarette if you are not a smoker.

I would like a refund.
The room looked nothing like the pictures in the add. Everything was run down. Window was broken. Door handle falls off. Pool closed. Key cards failed several times. Had no room service, had to ask twice to get fresh towels. Air conditioner would not keep room cool. Roof had something loose and wind made banging noise throughout the night. I have photos but cant up load.

Bed was rock hard, lights missing, live electrical wires sticking out of the wall. It served it's purpose for one night. I actually tired to cancel and they refused.

The room itself wasn't too bad but simply poor maintenance practices. All the electrical sockets are so worn out that you can't get anything to stay plugged into the wall. Plus window was covered with a ratty and broken set of blinds with at least 5 sections broken. Anyone walking by could see straight into the room! Could have been resolved by management with just some TLC.

Ok for a short stay across from the beach
All I needed was a place to hang my hat on Flagler beach overnight. I got their cheapest room at $60 bucks. It appeared to be relatively clean. My germ pet peeve is tv remotes. I always wipe them down with disinfectant, the paper towel was dirty afterward. Hot water was Luke warm at best. I’m sure the more expensive rooms are a bit nicer but all in all if you want a place to hang for a night or two, Topaz works for the price.

Room hopping
Wanted room for 3 with kitchen. First room showed unable to unlock door. Electronic door lock should have been replaced yrs ago. Second room ok at first. 1 drawer in kitchen missing bottom.Faucet was corroded and no water. Fire alarm no battery backup, power was lost. Window facing ocean leaked badly. No kitchen utensils, pans, one pot I wouldn't dream of using. Saw a few 6 legged brown guys. Third room would be ok for 1 night stay.

If all you need is a bed and toilet, this motel passes. But if you want a working refrigerator and outlets and a pleasant environment, go elsewhere. It was a cheap place to stay in bad weather on my way to visit friends. Years ago when I lived in the area, this was a nice motel with a great restaurant. Obviously, new owners.
