Had to call to get them to change the sheets as there was blood on them, only got 2 sets of towels even though they knew there was 4 of us staying there. Tried all day Saturday to get in touch with them only to get a call back Saturday night saying no one was at the property that day and they could bring towels in the morning (which is when we we're checking out) which no one did. Roach in the bathroom.

I didn’t stay drove 8 hours to have a room infested with roach bugs (not palmetto bugs) and had to find another motel because couldn’t get any answer on phone from studio 1.

This is our 3rd year in a row staying at Studio 1 for a Daytona trip. You cannot beat the morning sunrise view and easy beach access. Very comfortable amenities.

Good for budget stay even with family, friends
Pros: ------- Motel is descent and value for money. Our premium booked room was much better from inside than it actually looks from outside.Kitchen option was an added bonus. Location is very good & opposite to beach & 5-7 mins drive to Daytona beach boardwalk Cons: -------- Though not in big numbers but i would not like to have a single roach in my room specially with family, Yes we have to eliminate minimum 5 to 6 roaches in each of the rooms we stayed in. Also it adds the risk to cary roaches back to our homes. It should get addressed immediately. Checkin in was with a good delay due to less support onsite and not being very prompt. Even when we mailed/messaged beforehand letting them know our entry time, we didn't got any confirmation. Calling directly in the given number also never helped. It needs improvement.We have to call number of times and wait for a hour to get it sorted.

No one at office during the whole stay. Cockroaches windows looked like they hadn’t ever been cleaned( couldn’t see out of them)Beach access closed and was one of the reasons I booked here. No heads up about. I am disabled so it was quite an ordeal to get to the beach Just overall has gone downhill as I have stayed here previously 5 times

Arrived to the Facility, an hour after Check in, and there was no staff on site. Called the number multiple times that was left on the door of the office with no answer. Sat and waited in the parking lot for 30 min after we just drove 7 hours, and finally was given a code to get a key out of the key lock that was hanging on the door. Entered the room and it was abnormally warm. We turned the A/C down to try to cool the room off. The A/C did not work. I called and called and could not get any help. We slept 3 hot and sweaty nights before calling it quits and leaving our trip early. I was told that someone would be out tomorrow . Never happened and never had anyone check on anything. Finally got in touch with Management. They said they would refund me. Never did. Do not stay at this place. Ruined my only summer trip I got to take my boys on.

It all started out with our entry at night where there was a crack head outside with a hatchet walking towards us in a weird, scary way. After looking outside of the window, the guy with the hatchet was still outside swinging his hatchet. Then the room had blood stains on the blankets and food crumbs near the microwave. The roaches were hatching eggs in the restroom and releasing a smell.

Started bad, was bad in the middle, and ended ok. We didn't have our key in the lockbox when we went to check ourselves into our room at 11:00 after an exhausting day (we called ahead to ensure we'd be good for late self-check-in). Had to wait 25 minutes out on the dirty porch for our room key. The beds were decent, so that's a plus. But the floor was so dirty you couldn't walk around without shoes. And it was a major hassle to get somebody to come and clean give them a 5 minute mop (which is all we needed). The first cleaning staff I talked to said they'd be there in 10 minutes. 25 minutes later I went to check on it and was told "we're in the middle of cleaning a lot of rooms right now, you're going to have to wait"... Ok then just tell me that up front instead of saying it'll be done in 10 minutes? Also, when I asked for an extra towel, I was told they didn't have any because they were way behind on laundry, so I'd have to make do. Then getting the wifi password, which wasn't sent to us or included anywhere up front, was a hassle. Had to text and call multiple times before getting it. They did let us do a late checkout which was appreciated. So I almost gave 2 stars for the location, decent beds, and late check out, but the rest of the experience was just too much of a headache to even give it that.

This is our third year in a row staying at Studio One. Sweet little old school motel right across from the beach. Management went above and beyond to accommodate. Love this place!

The location was more in the older side, but it was ok to stay in. Some areas of the room were dusty, and I even encounter a dead bug. For what I paid for, so close to the beach, I guess it was ok to stay in.
