This bright basement suite has plenty of space for fun/relaxation, and is just a short hop to the Halifax ferry!

I often travel around for work, and lend my apartment out to friends, family when I'm gone. I'm happy to share this spacious apartment with a bright bedroom with twin bunks (not suited for adults), large kitchen and a cozy living room with a work desk and queen bed.

My apartment is fantastic for couples, families and small groups looking to explore Halifax and Nova Scotia!

For your convenience, guests will check in using an electronic keypad, but we'll be available if you require anything.

We like to give you privacy, while also remaining "on-call" if you need anything.

Downtown Dartmouth is quickly growing into one of the most exciting and trendy areas in the region. With hot spots like Two if by Sea coffee shop and the Battery Park craft beer bar just across the street; plus a thriving collection of boutiques, artistic venues and of course no shortage of incredible dining options, just a few blocks away, you may find yourself booking a return trip just to enjoy everything this neighbourhood has to offer (and we'd be happy to welcome you). Rain or shine, you'll quickly discover why this is the best side of the bridge to be on (don't tell Halifax I said that though..)!

Exterior Parking (a real asset in Downtown) is included in your stay!

There is a gated backyard, but this space is not maintained or included in your stay. You are welcome to use it at your own risk, but please be very careful and mindful of neighbours. Please also clean up and remove any garbage etc., that you bring into the space.

This is a heritage property that has been restored and updated for modern convenience. The apartment includes a kitchen and a private bathroom. Past the kitchen, you will find a study with a queen bed, TV, seating, bookshelf (with plenty of delightful surprises) and work desk. Off of the study is a large bedroom with open closet storage, a 2nd TV, Playstation 3, seating area and Twin Bunks. This Bedroom also doubles as a fantastic space to relax and have fun with the family, with sliding french doors to offer some quiet and privacy when it's time for the younger members of the family to turn in for the night.

Our commitment to an enhanced cleaning protocol means we follow a rigorous sanitizing program in advance of the arrival of each guest. In addition to our commitment prior to your visit, you’ll find cleaning supplies on hand for your use during your stay.



You'll be right in the heart of Downtown Dartmouth. You're close to multiple bus routes, a leisurely walk across the park to the main Dartmouth transit terminal and just a 5 minute (relaxed) walk down the street to the ferry!

Access to this apartment is 5 steps down from the parking lot, behind a gate (which you can park in front of). You will have quiet tenants above you, most guests don't hear them, but it's possible you may hear footsteps during the day (particularly going up and down the stairs).

There is a giant monster that lives in the shed out back (I'm kidding, I just wanted to see if you were still reading).

Great stay at a convenient location they was close to coffee shops and restaurants. This was in the basement of a historic house and some may mind the lack of natural light. It was spacious enough for two of us to set up desks to be able to work from home.
