The location was good for my visit to the medical district. The hotel is a bit dated, but comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Not a lot of options, but sufficient for a quick bite. Front desk lady was friendly at check in.

The TV remote control was filthy. I actually took the time to clean it [that was for both rooms]. Even afterwards, I used tissues to touch the remote. The chair look filthy because I saw some spots on it that I did not know what they were [that was for both rooms]. So, I did not sit on it. The shower head was leaking when you turn it on which prompted me to change rooms. The carpet in the hotel does not look clean. The roads surrounding the property needs to be paved. There are too many potholes.

The willingness of the staff at all levels of responsibility to respond to questions or needs in a friendly yet unobtrusive way was outstanding. We found the lack of something to provide firm footing in the shower disconcerting. It was VERY slippery. The hair dryer did not work. As it turned out there was a replacement in the room, but it was way under the bathroom counter and we did not know to look for it. The staff scampered to find a replacement but a note or putting the second dryer on the counter would have saved us all some trouble. Overall a great place to stay. It seemed well managed.

I reserved accessible room and was given a regular room, the coffe maker in the room didn’t work notified staff but fell on deaf ears, luggage rack was so flimsy couldn’t place suitcase on it, the room was musty smell and the toilet quit working so had to move to a different room, hospital stay was not as long so decided to leave a day early. Won’t be staying at Sleep Inn again.
