Gem on the south side
This house has everything you’d need to enjoy your stay close proximity to concert venue/fair grounds. They thought of all the extra details! There is a camera in the living room but it’s monitoring the entrances/exits, understandable for the area the house is located. Glad there was this great option so close to the south side events!!

Clean updated very nice
Very convenient to Dos Equis Pavillion where we were attending a concert. Didn't realize but close to Deep Ellum and some great food and nightlife. Minor problem with house but it was out of his control and communicated to me before I checked in. Very fair but my girls are still waiting on their Starbucks. Would definitely stay again

I Wanted to Cry
Before leaving for Dallas, I received the check in information for our rental. The first thing that raised a red flag was a camera located in the living room. Per Vrbo policy, outdoor cameras are permitted but in door cameras are not unless disclosed. However, the camera can be deactivated upon request. The location was disclosed upon questioning the owner, but he never deactivated it. He claimed that he's had to use the footage to show authorities...another red flag. I assumed the home was in a good neighborhood. It is new and very cute. The review said it was an up and coming neighborhood. I believe it was the neighborhood which was forgotten. Upon our arrival, a car was parked outside the home with a window out and it was covered with a garbage bag. There was trash all over the lawn. Groups of people in their front yards, playing loud music. There were bars on the windows of the homes. No bars on the newly built/ refurbished home which we were staying in, but the a/c unit outside was barred and locked up. The inside of the home was beautiful. It was very clean and new. However, the pictures were deceiving considering the neighborhood. We did not feel safe. Cars racing and reving their motors, loud music, and partying all night from neighbors. I felt deceived and embarrassed because I was the one who booked the rental. The camera was very disturbing. What if I would have brought my young daughter? I don't feel like any parent would want their child being viewed by a stranger. Very creepy and alarming. I will be very hesitant with my next booking.

Beautiful home
This home is located in an area that's up and coming but its so peaceful. The home is BEAUTIFUL and these host are wonderful. Thank you for the variations of water and coffee.
