The front desk computers were down when we checked in and the experience was not handled appropriately. It took a while to get everything situated. There was no extra effort to rectify the issue by the front desk. I noticed room service was offered to the guest before us and was not offered to my party. No consistency. Cleaning staff does not bring towels to the room, apparently the guest has to come to the front desk to pick them up, according to the front desk attendant.

Convenient on and off to the highway. Property was clean, staff was friendly & breakfast was good. Only real complaint was the bed. It could be that I’m super spoiled with my own comfy bed at home, but honestly the floor wouldn’t have been much harder than the mattress.

We checked in & everything seemed great at first, but when we went to shower that night we noticed issues. The shower handle fell off, the towel hook fell off & the door to the bathroom was hard to close. We laughed it off thinking they would fix it up the next day. We were able to kind of rig it to still use the shower but the heat was hard to measure. The next morning we told the front desk, they said sorry & said they would get it fixed. We left for the day & came back after lunch to check on the progress & we were missing the shower knob still& again we asked the front desk. When we came back for the night, the knob was still missing. We spoke with a diff front desk person who said they would make note of it & try to get us a discount for our stay. They offered another room but it would have had a pull out for the 2nd bed &. It was late. So we stayed. Out last morning we weren’t able to get the heat on in the shower & we left very disappointed.

Beds comfortable. Breakfast was good. Loved that it has bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower that is attached to the wall and lotion and hand soap by sink. No complaints.

We really liked this Hampton Inn and Suites. Overall a 4.8 of 5 stars. The demerit was from a noisy AC unit in room 507. A bad bearing, perhaps? Also, the 1st floor light for elevator #2 (by the door) was out. We never could tell if pushing it properly sent the command to the unit to move. This area is walkable. It is close to NorthPark Central mall. There are other shopping and eating places nearby. The free breakfast was quite satisfactory. SMU, University Park, and Highland Park are nearby. The room was quiet (besides the AC). Nice workout room. Love Field airport is 18 minutes away. We will stay here again.
