A friend and I flew into Dallas and drove to Arkansas to attend a wedding, then flew back out of Dallas. We stayed at this hotel for the night because it was close to the airport and we had an early flight. We clearly did not read reviews prior to arrival, and I wish we had, otherwise we would have stayed ANYWHERE ELSE. Immediately when we walked in, our senses were bombarded by the smell of thick air fresheners. The elevator even had air fresheners so strong that we almost threw up. Why would you have so many conflicting smells, and why would you put one in an enclosed, small space?! We were initially given a room on the third floor, but had to turn around in the doorway and go back down to request a new room, because the room smelled SO strongly of cigarettes. We were told it's a non-smoking hotel and it shouldn't be an issue. Clearly it is an issue. We again requested another room. We were given a room on the first floor, and it at least didn't smell like cigarettes or air fresheners. The room was clean enough, though cockroaches did come out from under the bed at night. We really only stayed long enough to shower, sleep, and left at 3am to return the rental car and catch our flight. And when we left at 3am, we were greeted by many MANY prostitutes and their Johns in the parking lot. It was so bad that we couldn't even leave the parking lot because Johns were blocking the entrance with their cars. Would never stay again or recommend to anyone.

Good for the money
Typical night in a motel. Parking required vpermit to avoid towing. Mixed area of commercial and industrial including a strip club(not sure which catagory that falls in to)... Motel does need some repairs. Plug in bath did not work. GFCI wouldnot reset and plugs next to bed were worn out and loose. Staff was friendly.

The hotel itself was great specially for its price . On the down side…. The whole area is filled with prostitution and drug dealers. As we were getting out of the car with my 2 small children a group of 10 sex workers and their pimp was walking behind us smoking weed. In the morning when we went to eat breakfast there was more of them sitting eating as well, serving their pimp. We talked to the hotel staff about it and they told us that they call the police every night and the police never do anything about it. Our room was great, we just felt very unsafe.

Interesting.. to put it nicely
Parking area was a bit sketchy. There were a couple of women not appropriately dressed walking thru the parking lot. :-\ This is across the street from a strip club. The front desk person passed me walking out the front door. I didn't know it was him till he came back 5 min later to check me in. (maybe a smoke break) there wasn't a bell to ring for service so we just stood there waiting. Once we were checked in we went to our room 210 put the key in AND THERE WAS SOMEONE IN THAT ROOM. Thank god he was dressed. Went to get a new room. He was apologetic. Knocked before entering 2nd room. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. We locked every lock there was and put a chair in front of the door. Concerned that could happen to us. Probably won't stay at this location again.

Not safe area
Hotel is located on a sketchy area. DO NOT walk around at night. You must have a car or Uber to places, right next to a highway. The hotel at night has a weird vibe and smells pot a lot.Make sure you come down early for breakfast, it is empty by 830am and they don’t restock it. Rooms have seen better days.
