Ok place to stay
At first sight it looked pretty good but, we started to see a few small details that other smaller Inns and hotels/motels usually have. Carpet looked clean but had stains?? The huge spa tub my wife found sone long hairs in it?? And the tubs bottom was very slippery!? Oh and the lighting in our bathroom had 1 or 2 lights not working...other than that the free breakfast was good...everything was close by that we wanted to see and visit. Ahhh...the courtesy cart had seen better days...duct tape to hold it together???

Advertised for free shuttle to airport-I even called ahead of time to confirm and they confirmed, however when checking in they only had limited offer. Also did not feel safe to leave car parked in their lot, although that was an option available too. Dirty

My spouse and I checked in at 03:00 AM Thursday morning Sept. 26th, 2024. We were exhausted after a 12-hour drive from Panama City Florida, where we were supposed to be spending our honeymoon, but were asked to evacuate due to Hurricane Helene. We awoke a few hours later to find a musty smelling room with what appeared to be small spots of mold on the ceiling. I brought this to the attention of the staff and explained that I was experiencing an allergic reaction to the mold. I was offered a different room but noticed the same smell in this room and could not take a chance on the allergic reaction getting worse. I asked the manager to refund my remaining nights, but they refused. We had to book a different property and attempt to salvage what was left of our honeymoon. I’ve tried two times to get a refund through Expedia, but the owner of Comfort Suites DFW North/Grapevine refused both times. I would not recommend staying at this property.

It’s fine.
Overall it was good. The elevators stink like old cigarettes, but the room didn’t. Some of the furniture in our room was peeling. Bed was comfortable. We weren’t aware we were getting an ADA room, so no bath tub. But, polite and helpful front desk. Again, overall, good.
