The hotel is beautiful. I couldn’t ask for more. The check in was smooth and the staff was extremely nice. The room itself was clean and super cool. Art deco and so different than the typical hotel. I loved that. The part I truly loathed…..and this is no fault of the hotel itself, the noise outside. ALL NIGHT LONG! It was horrible. The parking was a nightmare so, in addition to the resort fee, I had to valet park. I had no other option. And the people on the next room smoked weed all night. That was a huge problem for me. I don’t smoke and I don’t like the smell. The walls are thin.

Great vibe, great restaurant and bar, easy parking, very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are very comfortable. Concrete flooring in the room and bathroom. Very clean hotel. Refrigerator with freezer in the room. Microwave in the lobby. Coffee is available daily. Excellent view from the roof.

It is a good basic hotel, lots of good vibe and I like the fact that they utilized an existing building and made it a place to stay. They had good service, VALET parking. But I did call earlier and was told that I could park across the street. I have to confess that I was a bit uncomfortable leaving in that parking lot overnight, but it appeared safe when I got up in the morning. The hotel is set in a revived neighborhood with some good restaurants and late night venues.

While the rooms and decor all look very nice at first, it becomes obvious that most of this was just minor upgrades to a pretty old building that are more cosmetic than actually great. The walls are pretty thin here and they have rooftop parties so it wasn’t the easiest to get some rest. Nothing glaring or awful just not as “nice” as the price or pics made it seem.
