The hotel itself was excellent but the service was a problem. Check in took far too long and on checkout the desk clerk lied to me. I enquirer about extending my stay and he said I could but had to book extra night through Hotels.com. I agreed because he said we could stay in our room. After booking the non refundable second night he said o had to pay extra or get a lower room.

It's a budget hotel, so if course it could use some fresh paint and updating, but it was very clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great!

The property is very run down and a cost of paint is not going to fix it. My room was horrible and I had to move because the A/C smelled like it was on fire.Luckily the girl on duty helped me move but then other guests were knocking on my door asking if food was delivered to me. Weird.

The tv was on in my room when I got there which made me feel a little weird. I looked around to make sure the room had been cleaned and no one else was actually staying in that room. All was good and I understand that things happen like that from time to time. Lots of activity, people coming and going, had a pizza delivery person knock on my door (I didnt order pizza) close to the casinos in council bluffs which I liked but lots of noise. Overall a great hotel, would stay there again.

Clean, updated building and rooms, comfy bed, friendly staff - especially the housekeeper on Sunday morning/early afternoon. She was so sweet. Also, the shower was phenomenal! Excellent pressure, full glass doors, plenty of hot water and light!
