The first thing I noticed when I walked in was it reaked of cigarette smoke. In the lobby of the hotel. If I had the time, I would have gone somewhere else. The lobby was nowhere near the casino. And it smelled like cigarette smoke everywhere I went. To the one restaurant they had, which was very limiting in menu, in the hallway, even in the hallways to my room. It was disgusting I mentioned it at the front desk and the woman checking me in said it was because of the casino. I don’t stay at hotels to intake other peoples smoke.. There isnt any amount of money that I would pay to stay at this hotel EVER again. . It was miserable.

The hotel was basically empty I showed up 20 minutes before my check-in time. They said the only way they could allow me into my room was if I paid an extra $30 even though the room was ready and the hotel was empty. The front desk crew was very dismissive and were not familiar with the property enough to direct me to my room. The staff could use some training on customer service.

They have Gestapo goons who monitor the covered drop off/pickup area. I stopped there and took my bag inside to check-in and took my bag to the room. Before I could get back downstairs to move my car they were already at my door that I had to do that immediately. It couldn’t have been more than 10 minutes including check in. They escorted me down the elevator and outside to make sure that I moved my car. I will NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. Rooms were badly in need of redecorating. Pathetic excuse for a hotel. I never spent a dime in their casino either. DON’t STAY HERE!!!!

We stayed the night and as we get into our room there were boot prints on the floor, bobbie pins on the floor, wrapping paper under the bed, dirty towels under the bathroom vanity. Then the next morning we get up to shower and leave and there was no water. Called the front desk, the lady was super nice, but had no answers or solutions to the no water issue. I understand things happen but then coming out of the room thr maid staff were knocking on doors to clean the room, WHAT!!! Theres no water how are they cleaning. Still no reimbursement or anything offered for the inconvenience. Upper management should have been there to help their staff and to help answer questions of the guests as well as the workers. But again nothing. Definitely not worth the $159 for one night and the 6.5 hour drive home with no shower after a funeral.
