Fantastic holiday
From start to finish our experience of this beautiful cottage has been second to none, from the warm welcome we received, the fantastic location, the scenery and of course the pool. Although shared with the owners, it was excellent, cleaned daily and always inviting, especially as the weather was so hot. A very peaceful and tranquil place, we especially enjoyed watching the stars at night. We would definitely recommend a stay at this location. The pictures do not do this place justice. 5 Stars all round 👌🍷

Lordly refuge in the middle of a small forest
We enjoyed our stay near Chavagnac very much! Especially the spacious basement is suitable for cooking for the whole group (2 families), but also for playing games or being together on the long table. The kitchen offers (almost) all things necessary (a big pot for noodles might be fine). Because we had fine and warm weather, we stayed outside in the patio, crowned by wine branches, for almost every meal. The garden is spacious as well, so you find places to be together as well as to be undisturbed, having the pool only a few steps away from the house. To the Manor House of Mrs. P., which is directly beside the holyday home belong 2 friendly dogs and one cat - so you have to know that the three animals like to use the whole area coming to the terrasse as well as into the house - maybe that doesn't please everyone. The region around offers enough for visits as well as hiking - it is a good spot to explore the valleys of Dordogne and Vézère.

Excellentes vacances
Nous avons été très bien accueillis La propriétaire est charmante et tout s' est très bien passé. La maison est grande et l' espace est bien distribué. Elle très bien équipée, avec une décoration de bon gout. La literie est très bonne. Nous avons goutés le silence des lieux. La maison est très bien située. La piscine est merveilleuse et la vue sur les coteaux et le parc fleuri est splendide. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances. Encore merci pour l' accueil.

Calme et dépaysement
La propriété est super et la piscine un vrai plus .Pas de soucis avec la piscine partagee .La proprietaire est tres agreable , tres sympatique et tres discrete. La maison est tres grande ( nous étions trous couples) La localisation est excellente pour visiter la Dordogne. Je recommande cette location sans hésitation.

Een heerlijke rustige omgeving met een groot zwembad
Als je de oprijlaan van 500 meter afrijdt passeer je eerst het kasteel en dan de valkerij, het huis dat verhuurd wordt. Vanop de terrassen kijk je op het zwembad of het grasveld. We hadden 2 hangmatten gehangen tussen de oude bomen wat het nog gezelliger maakte. Verwacht je niet aan grote luxe maar aan een gezellig ouder huis, ruim genoeg voor 4 koppels. Het is wel gehorig, maar door het mooie weer en de omgeving zit je toch de hele dag buiten. Het water van het zwembad is zeer proper en wordt goed onderhouden. Je kan het zwembad afsluiten, veilig genoeg. Wel een beetje opletten met enkele tegels van het zwembadterras die los liggen. In het huisje is alles aanwezig, zelfs een extra vriezer om drank snel koud te krijgen. Minpuntjes zijn het kleine fornuis (niet zoals op de foto) en de gevolgen van een lek aan de boiler waardoor het toilet beneden muf ruikt. De badkamers zijn voldoende maar basic.

Dépaysement charmant en Périgord
Perdue en pleine nature, proche de tous les sites touristiques, vieille maison au charme ancien et anglais, cette demeure dans un foisonnement de plantes et de fleurs, offre plusieurs lieux de vie : terrasse salon, terrasse repas, piscine belle eau de baignade, grand espace vert. A l'intérieur : il y a de la place pour tout et pour chacun. Les conditions pratiques de séjour et de dépaysement sont réunies. La présence de la propriétaire est une aide. Calme absolu dans un écrin de verdure à nul autre pareil...
Belle demeure ancienne bien aménagée et où il ne manque absolument rien pour passer un séjour bien confortable. La piscine est super et immense. Et tout le Périgord au bout des doigts. Un clin d'oeil spécial à Madam de Pompignan, charmante et très agréable.

Conformes à la description, Une maison grande, bien équipée, un acces direct a la piscine. Le partage de la piscine n’est pas dérangeant car la propriétaire est discrète et très sympathique. Une maison calme sans bruit dans une propriété pleine de charme. Un excellent séjour.
