Great for the rate.

It's not bad at all for the price. It's a really busy place so It's a little noisy. The floor could of been a little cleaner, but overall, not bad. I asked for a non-smoking but my room smelled like smoke. They made it right by giving me another one wich smelled clean. I recommend this place.

Will No Longer Stay at this property.

This wasn't my first time staying at this property, but it was my last. I saw a roach when I first entered the bathroom, not shocking for South Texas. However, once I actually went to bed I felt one in my arm. Thought it was a fluke. As the night progressed roaches were crawling all over me. I called the front desk about 1am, yes I waited so late, and ask for roach spray, there was none available. I shook out bedding, but alas the roaches kept coming. I advised the overnight staff by going to the lobby. When I finally checked out, with no sleep, the morning person did apologize, but offered nothing else. This was a horrible experience, not mentioning the very worn mattress. Franchises should have secret shoppers. I only have videos , but there's no option to upload videos

I noticed the mold present in the bathroom and next to the sink.... I didn't bother asking to switch rooms because I was ready to leave. I knew I wouldn't get my money back and had already moved all my stuff into the room. The other reason for not wanting to stick around is the fact that there are loud guests up all hours of the night. Every night I stayed here, I was woken up by someone laughing or tweakers yelling at the top of their lungs. I also had several people try to enter my room who were not staff, and one lady whose key card opened my door. I know she was not housekeeping because they came shortly after, and no one resembled her. The lady did not knock nor announce herself... when she opened the door I asked can I help you?, and she just closed the door.... not sure if this is your standard practice here to just barge into rooms unannounced or if you accidentally gave someone a key to my room, but regardless, I didn't appreciate the fact that I had alot of expensive equipment that I travel with and had I not been there at that time, it may have been stolen. Which would have been my problem alone..... I did not see any bugs, just mold in the shower and sink, and no surfaces were cleaned with any kind of detail during my stay. Just daily trash emptied and new towels.
