Other Things to Note:
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES: Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am. While we try to go above and beyond to accommodate our guests, we cannot guarantee early check-ins or late departures. This is to allow our cleaning crew ample time to make sure the property is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after your stay.

ACCESS CODE We have an electronic lock on our property. You won't need to go to an office and pick up keys. This code will be a part of the check-in instructions sent 30 minutes prior to your arrival. When you get in the area you can go straight to the property, unpack, relax and enjoy.

INCIDENTALS: The house comes stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, cookware, linens, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and bath towels. There is a coffee maker.

SELF CATERING: All of our properties are self-catering. No maid or towel service is provided during your stay.

We partner with SUPERHOG for our guest screening process. The SUPERHOG application must be completed by the primary guest listed on the reservation, and the background check must be finalized within 48 hours of booking confirmation, in compliance with State and City regulations. Please note, your booking is NOT confirmed until these requirements are fulfilled.
Once confirmed, and prior to check-in, guests are required to sign a Rental Agreement that outlines the terms of the stay, which includes agreeing to the following:

-Abide by our rental terms and conditions.
-Provide a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card before check-in.
-Pay a non-refundable $50 damage waiver through SUPERHOG.
This damage waiver covers accidental damage during your stay. Please note, any damage incurred must be reported during your stay to ensure coverage by the waiver.

This property is managed by Sand Key Vacation Rentals. We are located at 221 W. Avenue A Suite 6 in Port Aransas. We are open 9 - 5 Monday - Sat and 10 - 3 on Sunday. Our hours in the Summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day) are 9-6 Monday-Saturday and 10-5 on Sunday. Please get in touch with our office if you need assistance.

Very nice
Great location and direct access to the beach was perfect for our needs. Word of caution… there is an owner (not the owner of this rental) who does NOT like drones to be used on the property. She called the police and gave them false information. The police were very annoyed with the owner for calling them. The owner also called the property manager and gave false information including reporting we were smoking weed. But even with that, we plan to rent the unit again.

Great unit!
The unit is very nicely furnished and decorated! We like Mustang Island to be a bit away from the crowds. This was perfect. The buildings boardwalk is closed for repairs. There is one available beside the property. It just didn’t have a shower or good rinse station available. We definitely would stay again though. The 4th floor gives a great view of the oceanfront!

Pool wasn't clean, it didn't look safe to use. The pool dude didn't a have clue on how to use the vacuum to get the sand out of the pool. Other than that, it was fantastic!

this is a lovely condo with great views! The weather was a bit overcast and windy, but we enjoyed our stay. However, if you plan to cook meals bring everything you need, seasonings, ingredients, etc.

Absolutely the cleanest place we have stayed ever. Spectacular ocean view from the 4th floor. Large balcony. Nicely decorated. Had everything we needed except a potato peeler. Nice boardwalk to the beach. Could have used a few more Kitchen towels and better quality paper towels. The bed was so comfortable and the sofa was nice and comfortable too. Very pleased with our stay.

The View!
We loved our stay in this beautiful condo with the spectacular view. I can't say enough about that view. The pool is clean and super nice. The walk down to the beach is quick and easy. Beautiful beach! They provide grocery carts for bringing up your groceries and a luggage cart. These were life savers. Super close to both Corpus Christi and Port A. We are definitely coming back!

Fantastic. The previous reviews we read were great but the apartment still was better than expected. The Grand Carribbean is the wonderfully simple. And the 40 units make it very calm. Granted we were there for a late season weekend (only about a dozen or so units filled) but even with more people I think it would have been great. It is so super close to the beach we never needed to bring the car around w our things, we could carry everything on the short boardwalk. The apartment itself was perfect. Being on the 4th floor you have an excellent view of the water. And even when half a dozen kids were playing in the pool below, we still enjoyed plenty of privacy and relatively low noise on our balcony. The apartment is appointed perfectly. We cooked all 3 nights and had everything we needed. The decor is tasteful and also comfortable. The bed in the master room was extremely comfortable and love the black out curtains for a nice dark room (the pool lights are quite bright at night). We felt like we had more than enough space, had we had more than the 2 of us, it would have still been quite comfortable. Shower water pressure is not great but I think that’s to be expected at the top floor in a multi room complex. We had the most relaxing weekend here and hope to be back shortly!

Very nice, updated condo, beautiful view!
We all enjoyed the updated and very pretty condo. My husband and son realized the ceiling fans/light in the living room and 2 bedrooms were all on the same frequency so if someone turned their light off or fan it would turn all off! So they fixed it! Your welcome! Otherwise great place, short walk to beach! Short drive to town!

This is our 5th time at Grand Caribbean and this unit is now our favorite! Very clean, updated and trendy. Clean pool. Everything worked the way it should. It had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of seating. Quick walk down to the beach with great rinse station. We will be coming back to this unit each year.

A little slice of Heaven
This condo was everything I hoped it would be and more! We woke up early to watch the sunrise and were able to access the beach easily with the walkway. Coffee on the balcony while watching the waves was amazing in the mornings. The condo was clean, beds were comfy and we had everything we needed to cook dinner each evening. Highly recommend!

Unit was awesome, clean, roomy, short walk to beach, and nice clean pool. We booked this place because it said the facility was pet and smoke free. Didn't see any pets, but other units were smoking. Too bad others can't follow the rules. We were on the fourth floor and wanted to enjoy the lanai, but the unit below us was smoking. And the same persons were smoking in the pool ; (

A home away from home
What a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday because we stayed here! We were there Thursday thru Sunday and had the best time. The unit was gorgeous and so comfy. There was everything you could need and the view can't be beat. The plus was the extra breeze because we were on the top floor and even when laying by the pool, the ocean breeze could still be felt. I would definitely pick this place again and have already recommended it to several friends! We will be back! *I have one suggestion: need a full length mirror because we women need to know what our whole outfit looks like instead of just my head. :-) **The code to door locked at 10am despite checkout being at 11am so luckily one of us was still inside while loading the car or else, that could have ended badly. Code should at least extend to 11:15am. :-(

I think the pictures (even though beautiful) don’t do this unit justice! We loved the top floor!! No one is able to see you changing, especially with having little kids. It was perfectly secluded, but not far away that we couldn’t go eat, shop etc. the ocean is only a few minute walk! We spent all of our time at the ocean, in the pool, or enjoying the condo. It was so cozy and felt like a home away from home! In fact we loved it so much, we are looking to book this same until for next summer!

Great views and nicely decorated unit!
Had an awesome time, loved sitting on the deck listening to the waves, watching the sky mornings and evenings. Unit was super nice and the master bathroom looked really new. Nothing really close by so felt kind of remote which i thought was cool but really just a couple miles down the road and your in town for dinner or groceries or whatever.

Great property!
This is a wonderfully situated unit in a very good building. Elevators were a great surprise and the unit was clean and beautifully decorated. No indication the water is filtered out of the tap so maybe bring your own. View from 4th floor is PERFECT. With the dunes in front you don't see the vehicles, people or their pop-ups from the balcony. It looks like you're on a very secluded beach. A cart to take belongings to the beach would be a plus for guests but everything else was excellent. Will stay in this unit again if we return to Mustang Island. Highly recommend.
