**A signed Property Management Rental Agreement Contract is mandatory upon booking. Also required is a copy of your driver's license to receive check-in instructions. Contracting guests of Port A Beach House Company must be 25 years of age or older.**

Island living is made easy in this lovely beach home tucked away in old town Port Aransas. Blue Horizon is close to the marina, restaurants, shops, and sips! Enjoy ample outdoor living on the porch, upstairs deck, and in the massive 28X14 saltwater pool with an additional 8x8 play pool attached. When you come back from the beach, don't forget to rinse off the sand in the outdoor shower! ***We do have the pool serviced twice a week on Monday and Friday (depending on weather) and we do our best to keep sand out of the pool. Because we are right next to the dunes, inevitably you will probably see some sand at the bottom of the pool.

Don't forget to add a 6-seater golf cart to your booking! We are your one-stop shop! It's the best way to experience the island life and enjoy fun, easy beach access.

Beach gear credit included! As a gift to you, this home offers beach gear credit for you to select top-quality beach gear for your vacation stay. You can choose from a range of items including bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, boogie boards, and more. Simply select the gear you want for your vacation at least 48 hours before your scheduled check-in date, and VayK Gear will take care of the rest! Please note, a small delivery fee may apply.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-Check-in time is approximate time; housekeeping and maintenance make all attempts to be ready by 4 pm but there is no guarantee.
-STARTER set for guests to include two trash bags, dish soap and two dishwashing pods, one toilet paper roll per bathroom, one paper towel roll, and mini toiletry supplies. Guests SHOULD bring extra amounts of these items as the starter set is for 1 night, and we will not resupply the home.
-Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can't guarantee that you won't hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.
-Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time. There are no refunds for outages of cable/WIFI or if the city pool is closed for cleaning, repair, or maintenance.
-Please remember that you are on an island; mosquitos/pests can be plentiful several times per year. Our properties are treated by a professional pest control service every month.

CLEANING AND INSPECTION
-We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These complimentary amenities are provided in the property as a convenience until you can go shopping: hand/bath soap, one toilet paper roll per bathroom, one paper towel, two dishwasher pods, two trash bags, and one make-up wipe per bathroom.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family's arrival.

Thanksgiving Week with no football
It started out with no coffee pot and no internet. Called the night we arrived to get it taken care of. Left a message with answering service and no one responded. Called the next day, and finally started getting responses that afternoon. We did not have internet or TV the entire time we were there. The coffee pot arrived the night before we checked out. The downstairs "apartment" was impossible to be in, because of the chemical smell. It was an okay structure with beds, but would not stay here again. The management company said it was a spectrum internet outage in the area. Which was a complete lie, we spoke with the spectrum tech that came to fix the day we left, and he said it was due to an outdated modem and router. We tried to run internet off our hotspot, and spent money with our carrier to increase our data. Still couldn't watch football on Thursday. We also did not have a working dishwasher, it was installed lopsided, so it wouldn't latch to run a wash. There was also a really bad mosquito issue. The morning we left they attacked us, like no other place we visited in Port A this trip.

Wonderful place to stay
The house and hosts were amazing! We have stayed many places in Port A and this is now one of our favorites. The private pool was a life saver due to the gulf waters being so warm. THANK YOU to the host for a great place. We will be back :)

Sleepless in Port A
Uncomfortable beds, no coffee pots just the (2)makers. One pan to cook with which makes it hard to cook for 10 people. 1 game for kids to play a deck of cards that was it. The kids enjoyed the pool. I do not recommend this home.

Good place to stay!
Property was in a great location close to the local grocery store and shops. The house itself was clean and supplied well. The pool could have been cleaner as it was a little cloud upon arrival. Overall my family and I would stay again.

This house smells of toxic chemicals- Not able to use bottom half of house. Pool was disgusting.
This house smells of toxic chemicals! We were not provided access to the lower half of the house until Day 4. After accessing, it was not possible to occupy the lower half due to the toxic smell. The smell was concerning and perhaps a combination of mold and chemicals. The chemicals were paint and creosote and who knows what else. The beams in the lower half were covered in thick creosote and then covered with paint on top. Not able to check in until after 9pm: It was difficult to check in and no management available to provide assistance after repeated calls and emails. 4 of the doors in the home do not work- 2 being entrances to the home. The balcony was not usable due to the french doors broken/not opening. The back exterior door would not properly shut. Pool not usable: The awning to the pool is almost hanging in the pool, not raised. The pool was wrecked - dirty and gross and no pool service arrived to clean it until the afternoon before we checked out. No washing machine or trash containers/pick up: The washing machine was not usable and even with the smallest load, would violently rock out of balance. We never had trash service. Monday afternoon we found the trash can on the back right side of the home stuffed with old trash. We put it out front but never had trash service all week. Lack of management and maintenance: There was dog poop and trash including beer cans outside. And old debris like cages and metal laying in the yard. We reported not being and to access the unit and the smells. No one ever checked on the smell after we reported it to make sure things were safe and there weren't major issues like a gas leak. Overall the entire home has had a lack of management and care.
