Welcome to the Surf House! This 3 BR/3 BA, 2-story detached house is perfect for your next family getaway. Located in the popular Village Walk community, it is a short drive to the beach and is close to restaurants, shopping, and other attractions. The house sleeps up to 10 guests, has garage parking for 1 car, 2 driveway spots, cable television, and wireless internet. Village Walk is a gated community and features two community pools for your enjoyment. Come surf awhile!

The Surf House is completely renovated and features beach decor throughout. Enjoy the three outside sitting areas--a covered front porch to enjoy the morning breezes, a fenced yard with charcoal grill for your evening cookout, and a second-floor balcony with a peek at the ocean to catch some rays or end your day. The first floor features an open-concept kitchen/living/dining space to relax and enjoy the catch of the day. There is a reading nook and a sleeper sofa for extra guests. Down the hall you'll find a guest bedroom with a double bed and full bath with walk-in shower. A washer/dryer is also available in the hall closet. Upstairs is the large master suite with work station. It has a king bed and opens to the balcony. The master bath features a double-vanity, separate tub, walk-in shower, and a coffee bar with a mini-fridge. Across the hall is the bunk room with bunk beds and another double bed for the kids. The bunk room has it's own full bath next to it.

There is parking for three vehicles--one in an attached garage and two driveway spaces. Additional vehicles must be parked on the street and parking can be very limited in Village Walk. Please limit yourself to three vehicles , if possible. The property is located in the "golf cart zone" and guests can use golf carts to travel to the beach, around many areas of town, and within the community.

This property is DOG friendly with certain restrictions. We welcome well trained adult dogs (no puppies) that are not labeled as "aggressive breeds" with a limit of 2 dogs with a total weight under 100 lbs. We charge a $75 pet fee per dog (covers the entire stay) and ask that you pick up after them when they do their duties outside and kennel or crate them if they are left home alone. If you are bringing a dog, please message us the breed, age and weight of your dog so we can pre-approve them.

There is a washer/dryer on the first floor for guests to use. Please pre-rinse any sandy items outside before washing or drying them. The decorative surf boards and just that--decorations. Please do not attempt to move or use them. Finally, Surf House is NON-SMOKING and includes smoking of ANY kind. If you choose to smoke outside, please clean up any waste.

Perfect location and house
We stayed for about a week and had friends join us half way through. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook meals. If we go back to Port A, I'll definitely check availability.

Spring break vacation

We had a nice stay! Close to beach and it had two nice heated pools in the community. A nice little walking loop in the community was also good! We enjoyed the front porch greatly doing our stay. Beds comfy, kitchen fairly well equipped. A good stay for a week enjoying the beach and Port A!

Loved this home and community!
Very warm community pool, kids could swim comfortably on a November evening. Everything in Port Aransas is close by, within 10 min drive so it was great and easy to get to stores, restaurants, the beaches, dolphin tour, etc.

Short trip to the coast
Overall the house is really cute, nicely decorated. Had some minor issues with pests, but I quickly informed me that the house has been sprayed once. Unfortunately, the front and upper deck had not been cleaned in a very long time. I had to flip over the cushions just not to sit on loads of sand. The upper deck was filthy. Indoor the house was pretty nice but the rugs hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Not close to the beach so if you plan on walking, it’s not really an option.You will need to drive your car or take a golf cart to the beach.

Really loved our 2 week stay at Village Walk. Convenient location on 11th, a short distance to beach access. Nice 1st floor bedroom/bath for those with mobility issues. Great Week in Port A
We stayed at this property in a HOA gated community. The house was perfect for us. We had a small issue at check in that we handled and it was addressed with managment the next morning. Their response was instant and appropriate. The listing says 4 bedrooms. There are 3 plus a sofabed in the livingroom. This was a quiet neighborhhod and served our family perfectly!

Great location and stay
We had a great time in Port Aransas with our 2 8-yearold grandkids. The home is very comfortable, but there were small things that bugged me as the previous reviews were all 5 stars. Things like, the listing indicated a toaster in the kitchen, but I couldn't find one, the doors to the master bedroom closet came off the track, there were no real pantry items that you typically will find like spices, etc so if you want to cook, make sure to bring every ingredient you need. Don't get me wrong, it was great but imho it does not deserve 5 stars.

Relaxing stay!
We had two families in the trip. The one with two kids stayed in two bedrooms upstairs and we had the one downstairs. The house always felt open and easy to be in. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. The manager was very friendly and easy to reach but we never had any problems. Great house. Had a wonderful time. And liked being located between the old area of town with shell shops and the boats but not far from restaurants at Cinnamon Shores. Will stay again.

Everything that was presented online was presented upon arrival. Pool too small with too many people not able to enjoy. I would suggest assigned times so we have pool times. Roaches were a problem no matter how much we kept doors closed in upstairs bed rooms. Ugh. Washer Dryer took so long took hours same for stove to cook.

Spring Break 2022
Spring Break was early this year. We had 1.5 days of warm weather. The rest of the time it was cold. The house was perfect for lounging, relaxing, playing games, and watching movies. Our group was perfectly comfortable in the house. We will definitely be back and this house is our new favorite in Village Walk.
