Caters for car/bike travellers, everything you need, I would say, away from the hotels influence, the church bell rings on the hour, not sure what time it keeps through the night, but it did wake me up. Otherwise brilliant.
Lodging for guests includes an annex in back and down the hill where I stayed. I was given assistance with luggage. The steep climb up winding steps to get to my room was unexpected and risky for myself. There is mainly gravel road, no pavement for walking, and hills. Too bad that more focus isn't given to creating good pavements and streets for the visitors who bring money to the community.
I expected more than a Continental breakfast considering that the main building was a fine-dining restaurant.
This is a remote area, lacking facilities as in the city.
I went across the street for a small sandwich or pizza to a snack bar. It was still open and people were eating. I was told "no" to both requests. It seems that this establishment needs an extra dose of customer service as it surely looks as though it needs the customers and money. This cold and unwelcoming response told me much. If I am in the area again I will not stay in Corps.
