Pictures don’t reflect the current condition of the hotel, but the PLANNED renovations! I booked it because pictures show a microwave in the room. No microwave is provided in the room. Additionally, the hotel is under renovation so there is no access to the lobby from inside the building. You have to walk all the way around the building to get to lobby.

Long outside walk from check in desk to our room. No elevator. Many areas closed off. Weather conditions were terrible and everyone was drenched by the time we got to the room. Not suitable for anyone with luggage (you have to lift it upstairs) or elderly persons or anyone with mobility or back issues. Should have been noted on Expedia’s website. Information about renovation only came after we booked and paid for room and that was from the hotel itself.

Understandable that they were under construction, but I was checked into a room that was still being cleaned. The room was ok once she left however once asked for extra linens for the pull out bed no pillow was provided and no one at the desk to ask for extra. Towels were minimal. The pull out couch was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while.

Our biggest disappointment with Corner Brook Comfort Inn is they did not have a continental breakfast. All Comfort Inns we stayed at all had a continental breakfast, and suddenly, this one did not.

I’m disabled and have difficulty with stairs but they put us on the second floor despite protests. We were there for 5 nights and there was no room cleaning except every 3 days (even garbage removal!). We had to ask. Other hotels on our 3 week trips cleaned the room daily but only changed towels and linen every 3 days. We ended our stay early.
