At an altitude of 250m above sea level, the Olympia Villa affords stunning views over the surrounding countryside and the Ionian Sea. Originally built in 1864 using local white and pink stone, the owners have lovingly restored Olympia Villa to its former glory. All the traditional aspects of the original dwelling have been retained, yet all the facilities of a modern villa are also in place.
The large two-storey villa comprises most of the accommodation on the first floor with 3 bedrooms, bathrooms, living room and kitchen dining room. On the lower floor is a guest bedroom and a second living room with the exposed wooden beams of the floor above. Traditional antique furniture serves as a reminder of the age and beauty of this stone villa.
To the side of the villa is a terraced area with open barbecue and dining furniture for al fresco dining in the warm evenings. High stone walls in the same pink and white stone to match the villa surround the private pool and offer privacy and seclusion for the sun-worshipper. Alternatively, the more active guest will enjoy the range of walks offered by the luscious countryside or day trips to the fishing villages of Kouloura & Kalami just 4km away, with enticing water-front tavernas to relax in and watch the world go by.
