Contact Information:

Hidden away on our 265-acre property, Bubble Hotel Coonabarabran offers a unique off-grid glamping experience where you can stargaze from the comfort of your bed. Escape the hustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature under some of the clearest skies in the world.
Situated near Australia’s first Dark Sky Park – Warrumbungle National Park – this location is celebrated for its crystal-clear night skies, making it the perfect setting for stargazing and sleeping under a canopy of stars.
Bubble Hotel Coonabarabran is constructed from hail-proof polycarbonate and set on a spacious concrete slab, offering a luxurious glamping experience. Please note that due to the transparent design, daytime temperatures can rise during warmer seasons. There is no air conditioning or fans, so be mindful of this when booking. There is plenty to do during the day in the region, so if it's warm we encourage guests to get out and explore the Warrumbungle National Park, Siding Spring Observatory and Coonabarabran.
Amenities include:
- Main sleeping area with a comfortable queen bed
- Outdoor bath/shower with on-demand hot water
- Basic bathroom amenities
- Outdoor fire pit (usage subject to fire danger ratings and total fire bans)
- BBQ and stove cooking facilities
- Portable cooler and a kitchenette stocked with basic supplies
- Rainwater tank (we recommend bringing your own drinking water)
- Ice Bucket (guests will need to bring their own ice or can purchase it on-site for an additional cost)
The Bubble Hotel Coonabarabran is located approximately 20 km from the township of Coonabarabran, which provides all essential amenities, including cafes, shops, and fuel stations. Known as the Astronomy Capital of Australia, the town hosts the annual StarFest event, celebrating the region’s astronomical significance.
Right on your doorstep, Warrumbungle National Park is Australia’s first Dark Sky Park, internationally recognised for its pristine night skies. The park is perfect for day hikes, wildlife spotting, and of course, breathtaking stargazing experiences. Popular trails such as the Breadknife and Grand High Tops walk offer incredible views of the dramatic volcanic landscape.
Guests are free to explore the property or hike within the Warrumbungles. The area is teeming with native wildlife, including kangaroos, emus, and abundant birdlife. For those seeking relaxation, simply soak in the tranquil atmosphere and disconnect from the digital world, as mobile reception is limited once you leave town.
A 15 minute drive will take you to the Siding Spring Observatory, home to Australia's largest optical telescopes. Whether you're an astronomy enthusiast or a casual visitor, the observatory offers fascinating insights into space exploration and the cosmos.
