Family ski trip
We rented this lovely little house for five nights in February for a ski trip with our family of 5 and my husbands sister’s family of 3. It was well appointed with comfortable and functional furnishings — including some clever pieces like an armless chair in the livi mg room that folds out into a single. The decor was both modern and cozy with the open concept kitchen/dining/living room area perfect for hanging out with the Family. There were two high quality TVs and lots of little games to play in your downtime. Overall the kitchen was well equipped and had great dishes/bowls but would benefit from a knife block (only had steak knives) and a little teapot would be a nice addition for the tea drinkers :-). The beds were very comfortable and had many pillows and extra blankets in the couch we made use of as we had a huge snowstorm and sub zero temperatures with wind chill on a few days. The house is about 25 min from Mt Cranmore and about 30 from Attitash so pretty convenient for skiing without the bigger price tag of North Conway. All bathrooms and appliances were updated and worked well. The bedroom with three beds is actually a bunk bed with a trundle bed, which I didn’t realize from the description but that still worked fine for our group. I’d definitely recommend it for other families!
