Hotel under new ownership and needs updating
The review score looked great, but deceiving because the hotel was recently purchased and renamed. Was a Drury and very worn. Also name of hotel was not findable by Uber or Maps. Person at front desk was friendly.

I love this location! Reasonable prices, free room upgrades, and very friendly staff. I have no complaints other than the elevator near my room breaking down on the second day.

Poor front desk service
Started with the rude front service lady, this is on the night of December 14, 2024, charging me 30% more for the room than what I had reserved with Hotels.com. As I had left my phone in the car with the reservation information I had to go back to my car. When I got she told me to go back to the end of a long line of people waiting to check in (I had waited in a line the first time to check in). When I showed her the email with my reservation, she said that was my problem and I should call Hotels.com and deal with them. Mind you, I had just traveled 700 miles and was tired and not in the best mood. I told her no, that was not going to happen and after more arguing I guess she realized that she needed to honor the reservation, but not before telling me I would have to pay the tax on the higher rate. The room and everything else at the hotel was fine, but it was an aggravating checking in experience.
