Poor front desk service
Started with the rude front service lady, this is on the night of December 14, 2024, charging me 30% more for the room than what I had reserved with Hotels.com. As I had left my phone in the car with the reservation information I had to go back to my car. When I got she told me to go back to the end of a long line of people waiting to check in (I had waited in a line the first time to check in). When I showed her the email with my reservation, she said that was my problem and I should call Hotels.com and deal with them. Mind you, I had just traveled 700 miles and was tired and not in the best mood. I told her no, that was not going to happen and after more arguing I guess she realized that she needed to honor the reservation, but not before telling me I would have to pay the tax on the higher rate. The room and everything else at the hotel was fine, but it was an aggravating checking in experience.

I had a good day not like I usually have some amenities to use weren't working and weren't available the elevator was broke the breakfast was mediocre it was kind of cold the potatoes were not crisp they didn't have a waffle maker this time but people say that it was here Saturday morning I wasn't here Saturday morning came Saturday evening and they didn't have the drinks for the kickback so this was not as good of a visit as I usually have when I come here I'm usually very very pleased with the breakfast with the kickback and everything but some parts at the hotel seem to be falling apart I saw some of the wall boarders coming off in the hallway the room smell really really musty I'm not sure how often they clean their carpet but could just be me as an inspector

Excellent hotel.
Wonderful check in. Angel at front desk so nice and professional. Room ready and cleaning crew had turned on heater in preparation for our arrival. (Cold and rainy day) This hotel is spotless. The cleaning crew were excellent, we were watching them in the morning cleaning the lobby areas and we all realized this was the first time in a LONG time we had even seen a cleaning crew in a hotel lobby! Loved our stay and will definitely stay here again.
