Old and outdated
The staff were excellent and very helpful. The hotel is very outdated and the rooms very small. The shower is very small and you cannot move around safely. Although our stay was reasonable there were nicer hotels located closer to the lake costing only a fraction more. Not my type of hotel.

we arrived earlier than our check-in they were kind to let us leave our luggage while we went to our tour. Room was great and staff were very friendly, highly recommend if you’re staying in Como !!!!

Walkable to the city center.
The location of the hotel to the center is about 15-20 minutes walk. There is a paid garage but you need to make a reservation (and it was less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel but it was safe). The room was ok as we had 3 single beds, bathroom was spacious and newly done (there are no hooks to hang the towels). Clean beds and towels.

Dirty and disgusting.
This hotel was horrible. Staff was rude. We asked for 2 rooms nest to each other on reservation and they were supposedly so booked that they couldn’t accommodate that request. The halls were narrow, dark and creepy. The beds were gross. Comforters were crunchy like they haven’t been washed. There was a Stairway outside bathroom window- huge safety/privacy problem - someone could easily break into room from outside.(3rd and 4th floors) We didn’t unpack. We immediately left. Hotel made us pay for 2 rrooms for 2 nights- even though we didn’t stay there for a half hour! Rude front desk staff. Rooms didn’t have room for our 2 suitcases. Don’t recommend this place. We paid. We wanted out of there as soon as possible.

Well, tiny rooms with bad l ighting. We asked for more towels for 3 ladies, did not appear. Staff was nice but we never got our towels. Pillows were so hard. Not sure I 'd recommend it.

Hotel Park Meublè is an 8 minute walk (on cobblestone) from the Como San Giovanni train station. Clearly an ‘older’ hotel but nice and perfectly clean and suitable for our 2-night stay in Lake Como. Sarah at the front desk was very friendly during our check-in and provided a lot of help in navigating the area for our visit. Rooms have more of a ‘60’s dorm vibe’ and yes, the shower is incredibly small, but all things considered, it was nice. Thankfully, we’re not the type of travelers that pay ‘budget pricing’ expecting ‘luxury accommodations’ so they do the best with what they have. I do not recommend opting for the breakfast. Not a lot of good options offered and downtown Lake Como, where the ferry is, is only an 8 minute walk for better variety. Nice hotel, good location. Would recommend for a short stay

Park Hotel staff was very helpful and had comfortable modern facilities with nice breakfast. It's location to the train station and lake como is a big asset. The desk and breakfast staff are highly commended for their service.

The staff were very helpful , in particular Maddalena. They booked ferry tickets for me online and gave helpful advice re local restaurants . Always welcoming and cheerful. My single room was small but ideal for one person , with an excellent shower and tea-making facilities ( ie a kettle ) in the room, and a terrace outside accessed via the French windows . I will certainly use this hotel again on my next trip to Como and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it .
