I found the staff friendly and engaging. The location was great and I felt safe walking my dog. My room was very clean and looked recently remodeled. The only downside was having to carry my dog and my luggage up the stairs. My dog was scared of the open staircases.

Delightful, Convenient and CLEAN

After driving all afternoon and evening the quick check in and ability to back right up to our room and unload was super appreciated. The care and attention to detail with which ownership has maintained the property was evident immediately as a freight train was passing by as we entered our room and the instant we shut the door it was like we were vacuum sealed with zero sound penetration. That means QUALITY of building materials and foresight was the order of the day when the motor inn was built or refurbished. We woke early to continue our journey across country and the water pressure in the shower sent us into a neighboring dimension of cleanliness and reinvigoration . Oletangy provides the convenience of unloading and quick access to your car of a budget motel with the comfort of a higher end boutique hotel in a cosmopolitan city. Surrounding area felt safe and well lit with a quick walk to Wendy’s for a late night munch. Simply put… if you aren’t looking to break the bank while visiting your college student and appreciate properties that are privately owned and cared for, halt your search immediately and click that ‘Reserve’ button.

Good breakfast, but so much noise

The motel was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a coffee shop located in the motel, so coffee and a breakfast sandwich are included. The sandwich was infinitely better than the typical hotel chain breakfast. However, I only got half a night’s sleep due to the Bob Evans getting a food delivery at 3:45 am. Our room was about 80 feet from the back door of the Bob Evans. The delivery truck was idling there for 45 minutes, the driver was opening and shutting the truck doors repeatedly. To make matters worse, another truck came to empty the dumpsters shortly after.

I have never stayed here before went for a quick day trip. When i arrived i was so worried since i hate rooms with doors outside. I went to check in which was so cute in the coffee shop and the staff was amazing and helped me to change my mind. I went the room it was clean and so spacious. We spent the day out came back late and the area is safe and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Loved the free coffee amd breakfast sandwich in the morning. I would 100% recommend.
