Perfect stay
Perfect location, close yo UCCS, restaurants and stores. Staff is really nice. Quiet room. We slept well. The hotel is kind of old but clean and confortable. And that is what I ask for. Big room with a kitchen, so we don’t have to go to restaurants every day. And you sleep next to dinosaurs 😉😃

I had to check in late. 1 AM the front doors were locked and I couldn’t see anyone at the desk and finally saw a phone number called that and it still took him 15 minutes to get to the front.. I am a 65-year-old single woman and I was really pretty scared then he was rude and basically watched me struggle with my luggage didn’t offer any help. Then when I got to the room it was 81° although the air conditioning had been running. He went to look at another room. It was 76°. He finally found a room that was freezing cold but I except that because it was better than being hot. I was so tired and I was so mad that I was crying. The room was fine but the key cards kept erasing.

Soft Clean crisp sheets. White towells that looked new. Friendly staff. At first the Ten Commandments posted out front was a bit strange but really there were no wierd people there, no druggies etc. Maybe it was a deterrent. Roomy room.

It was nice and the staff was friendly. Unlike most hotels, the air conditioner kept the room nice and cold like I like. The only downfall is it would shut off for only a second and come back on, which if you’re a light sleeper, can become pretty bother some; overall 10/10.

Piss poor house keeping
Overall, the hotel was ok for what we paid, except for the smell. They was a nauseating urine odor that overwhelmed us every time we entered the room. Guessing that as this is a pet friendly hotel, a previous occupant's pet had urinated on the carpet and the cleaning people spent too little time if any cleaning it up. Unfortunately the hotel was booked so no other rooms were available. Will never stay at this hotel again

An Amazing Week
My stay was amazing as well as the staff. I had a very peaceful rest. The hotel room was very clean and homely. Breakfast was free and tasty; however, the sausage was extremely salty. I boiled it in water in the microwave oven for about five minutes and it was a little better.

The desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was out dated not very clean. Stains on the wall and the shower curtain was torn. We were running a little late in checking out and the cleaning person wouldn’t take the answer of we’re trying to get out as fast as we can. She wanted to know how many minutes and was insisting we give her an exact time. Other hotels are very understanding.
