When we visited this apartment, twenty years ago, we fell in love with the beauty linked to the history of the place. Once, the Comte of Ribeaupierre was the owner : the ceiling is decorated with its arms. The appartment is situated in the center of Colmar but very calm, and peaceful. This is a big apartment (130m2) filled with light thanks to the window both in the east side and west side at the third floor. Be at home !!! What could be nicer after a long road than arriving in a warm and clean apartment? (Since everything is new, no surprise!) And then, after an exhausting day running the Christmas markets, do you want to go home in two minutes on foot or by one hour after bottling and galley? Christmas markets, is 2 million tourists over 30 days! So make the right choice to enjoy the atmosphere once because you do not perhaps come back a second time, indulge yourself! The apartment is the former home of the Counts of Ribeaupierre. Its living room has a ceiling carved with the arms of the family (see photo). Acquired recently it has been completely redesigned for your comfort. Enjoy volumes ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)m ceiling), quiet (second floor without vis-a-vis with courtyard) and near the center and therefore at the heart of the Christmas markets. It has 3 bedrooms: - One with a large double bed 160; - One with two single beds; - And a bedroom with double bunk beds (new bedding also) that will delight the little ones (but bunk beds 90x200 can be ground to 4x1lit adult). There is a large lounge and dining area open to the kitchen. Many services all included in the price (bikes, Nespresso coffee machine and traditional, toaster, linens, towels and household products, cleaning and tourist tax etc ...) that will make you feel at home and you can travel light ... So let yourself go: Enjoy a memorable stay at the HEART of why you have kilometers: the Christmas markets! (see the map) Two must-visit: Unterlinden museum (also brand new, for a whopping $ 42 million!) is 500m, and the birthplace of the sculptor Auguste Bartholdi, creator of the Statue of Liberty, 50m! The street of the apartment is semi-pedestrianized side street and is where there the most restaurants in Colmar ... What more when you're on vacation? Your children can even go alone to the Christmas market, which is two blocks from the apartment, making rides, buy sweets, bread, croissants ... etc. Tout l'appartement est accessible au voyageur, à savoir plus de 130m2 pour 2,80m de hauteur sous plafond; l'entrée est comme sas desservant 4 espaces: les deux chambres à droite, le salon puis la salle à manger. Entrez dans la salle à manger et vous découvrirez la cuisine (toute neuve) puis empruntez le couloir qui mène à la salle de bain (toute neuve) et à la chambre secrète... Be our guest like our best friends! Nous saurons vous faire aimer la région et vous conseiller les bons restos du coin, pas forcément les plus chers, mais les meilleurs! La ville n'est pas grande, mais il existe beaucoup de recoins qu'il ne faut pas louper, nous saurons vous conseiller comme des amis qui viendraient nous rendre visite! Le quartier est vraiment le centre historique de la ville (XVIe siècle) et le Comte de Ribeaupierre vivait dans cette bâtisse lorsqu'il venait à Colmar. A deux pas, la collègiale Saint Martin, la plus vielle maison de Colmar, la maison Pfister mais surtout la rue de Colmar qui compte le plus de restaurant: que demander de plus lorsque l'on est en vacances ??? Le premier parking souterrain se trouve à 5 minutes à pied et les parkings en surface quasiment au pied de l'appartement. Le petit train touristique passe dans la rue de l'appartement. Les voitures ne passe dans la rue que le matin pour livrer les magasins et restaurants; le reste du temps, la rue est donc piétonne; profitez d'une ville relativement plate pour sortir des sentiers battus avec nos vélos mis a votre disposition gracieusement... on vous le dit, comme à la maison!!! La chambre 3 se compose de deux fois deux lits superposés accolés pour le plus grand plaisir des enfants qui adoreront cette chambre avec a portée de main lorsqu'on est dans son lit, des grandes étagères remplies du sélection de livres réalisé par Jade et Lila, nos deux filles, fans de lecture.
