Beautiful Property
Quiet neighborhood with breath taking views. Adorable house and stunning sunsets over the lake. We needed this weekend to reconnect and we are so grateful for the hospitality we received!

Communication with the owner was good. A few days before we checked in, the owner messaged me and told me that there were birds in the chimney making noise. She also sent me a video and asked if that would be a problem. We didnt have any where else to stay so I asked how far away from the bedroom the chimney was. She said 15 ft or more.untold her it wasn’t ideal but it is what is. I couldn’t help but wonder why she didn’t send someone to take care of the birds. First red flag. Then she allowed us to check in early and leave later. I was thankful for that. When we got there, there were huge cluncky flies all over the place. The house is nice. The bugs apparently agreed. We got to the house late, as I was about to go to sleep, I saw nothing but a giant roach with a tail (not sure what kind of bug this was) run across the master bedroom headboard. I have children and don’t know if I should let the kids sleep in this infested house or what to do. Since we didn’t have any options, we slept and woke up at 5am to let the owner know that this was acceptable. She informed me that there was bug spray somewhere in the house. I let her know that we weren’t there to spray her house with bug spray. She asked what she should do about that and whether or not we wanted to stay. Since we had no place to go, we asked her to take care of it. She informed us to not enter the house for one hour until the spray was dry. After seeing all the dead bugs inside the house, we decided not to stay.

Relaxing get a way
Our stay was very relaxing and very much needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and your hospitality. The view sitting outside was great along with the short walk to the park. We felt as though we were at home. The yard was perfect for our fur babies and glad we could bring them. We will definitely be back and already planning. We appreciate your quick responses to all questions and sincere concerns to make our stay perfect. The house was clean and we had everything we needed. Thank you! Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
