Come stay at one of the most rooted downtown homes in the area! This house was built in the 1890s and has so much character.
Centrally located to all the shops and restaurants in downtown and midtown. Walk to the beach, the parks and fun events downtown.
Tastefully remodeled.
There are 4 bedrooms in this home with 1 primary bedroom with a queen bed downstairs. Head up the stairs and you will find 1 queen room, a large kids room with a twin over twin bunkbed, and a designated office space with another twin bed. The additional bathroom is at the foot of the stairs.
The kitchen is fully stocked and features a gas ZLINE stove and a CHILL brand icebox refrigerator. The laundry room is tucked behind the kitchen. There is a mud room just before heading through the back door to drop all the extra equipment that come with traveling.
Outside is astroturf grass in the back, real grass in the front and a hot tub to boot. We love walking downtown so we have provided some scooters for older littles.
The garage is not for guest use but there is a long driveway that can park 3 cars if needed or even a boat (depending on size). You can also park the boat in front of the house if you are planning on bringing it.
Downstairs is full AC, upstairs there are additional window units.
This old house has some quirks but that’s what makes it so unique.
Walk straight down 7th st to the downtown library and McEuen park. We also LOVE Phippeny Park right around the corner from the house that has a play structure for kids, gazebo, basketball hoops, and a large grassy field to play frisbee or soccer or whatever.
Bryan Elementary is also right around the opposite way towards Harrison Ave that is great for park playing. Safeway is within walking distance if you wanted to as well as our favorite restaurant Izzy’s Comfort Food, Capones, Jeremiah Johnson’s, and Panhandle Ice Cream.
