I would not recommend this property
Turning on the kitchen lights my son-in-law saw cockroaches running across the floor. After unpacking our car, we realized how dirty and rundown the house was. There were mouse droppings on the windowsill, a plastic bag was tied together to hold up the shower curtain, there were no towel holders in the bathroom just screws where it used to exist. In addition, there was a half-eaten sandwich in the living room side table drawer.We left this property and moved to a hotel. This rental was unsatisfactory and should not be rented until cleaned up. This property could be a nice rental with a dramatic clean-up, cosmetic repairs and some tender loving care. The walls need to be painted and cleaned up, cracks need to be caulked and sealed so bugs are not able to get in and hide. Electricity outlets need to be added, or power strips added in bedrooms for guests, newer towels would be nice instead of the old towels they provide, new towel rack in the bathroom, the outside landscaping needs to be cleaned up, and the bug and mice issues need to be taken care of. We understand that cockroaches can be found in some Florida homes, but if a rental has an issue, it should be addressed by an exterminator on a regular basis in order to keep status as a rental.
