Hotel lobby and lounge areas around it has a great set up for families to hang out, work station as well as dining areas. Device charging plugs are available at everywhere. Perfect for kids and adults as well as working environment.

The hotel is in the middle of a bad area first off. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The staff wasn’t bad except for one guy working there was rude. They were also bringing in homeless people and putting them up in rooms. I have nothing against the homeless but they need to be taken to a shelter not to a hotel that you are staying with your kids and family.

This hotel is VERY poorly managed! We booked our 1-night stay approx. 3 weeks in advance and paid in full. We were in town for a concert and relying on a decent room to be waiting for us in the late evening...a VERY fair expectation! When we arrived, the clerk told us that he had one room available for us, but otherwise sold out. He was well-aware that the room smelled like smoke, and told us that he had sprayed air freshener. After checking the room, it did have a strong smoke smell [in a non-smoking hotel!]. The clerk would have preferred to simply cancel our reservation and have us go away. But, it was well after midnight and we did not have a place to go. Never any apology, but he ended up sending us to another hotel downtown that had a room available. He told us that TRU would pay for the other room, but that we would have to pay the $48 valet parking fee. After expressing continued dissatisfaction with this, he finally agreed to cover the cost of parking. I was not happy with the idea of valet parking because I do not like anybody touching my vehicle. However, we had no other option at that late hour. TRU was well aware that we would actually be showing up because we had parcels sent to the hotel and waiting for us. We were told that our parcels would be secure and only released with ID. Guest parcels are actually put in the unsecure open area near the clerk. He told me to find what was mine and never checked ID. Huge risk with my $300 parcels! :(

Excellent multi-functional lobby with free coffee and snack mini-bar, as well as the co-work space--good for hanging out whole day without going outside. Good room. I'll stay there again if visiting Cleveland again.

Staff at desk were not knowledgeable for people coming into town about choices for dinner. A lot of people here for concert in area looking for dinner options. The gentlemen behind the desk acted as if he hadn’t slept in days and was being put out of you asked him for anything. Property nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Hotel on an area with nothing around.

The area around the hotel seems sketchy but it was fine. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Bed was comfy. LOVED the shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion (ordered it online for home). There was a $50 incidental hold but it was returned the next day. They have a good selection of drinks, snacks, and toiletries to purchase. The breakfast was good. I liked that they constantly had the pancake machine going so you weren’t waiting in line forever for pancakes. Parking was free and the lot seemed secure. Overall, it was great and I will def stay there again. I visit Cleveland at least once a year and am glad I found this place for a better price and don’t have to pay $30/night for parking.
