Bar and restaurant under construction huge part of their advertising and appeal but did not offer a discount. Attempted to order food for delivery the staff was disorganized couldn’t find a server. Food was cold and tasteless when delivered an hour later. No coffee in the lobby again asked if we could order coffee and they had to go find a server took so long we left. The exact globe that we were assigned to on their website says fire pit when we got there we were told the model did not come with one despite having their website up with the exact listing. Seems like it’s run by a bunch of young people who have no idea what is going on which is a shame for such an expensive stay.

It was definitely a very unique place to stay especially since it is so extremely dark. I was a bit surprised to have to pay $15 to look through a telescope for a few minutes; I believe this should be an included amenity since the nightly rate is already pricy. Otherwise it was a great place to stay. I'm glad there was a dining option because you are in a pretty remote location.

Cool experience for a night

Cool concept- a lot of fun for a night at Bryce. And… you get to see a sunrise over the canyon without getting out of bed which is great when you have all the little people with you. There’s some little details that would make it better. Terrible coffee (that’s important!) both in the dome and restaurant… for the price, at least put some Starbucks instant. The food at the restaurant was good, best we had at Bryce. Only some domes have privacy curtains… I’m not really sure why. Adding just a sheer drape alongside the bottom of the dome would be nice. We left our curtains open about half way so we couldn’t see our neighbors and got to experience the stars and sunrise. The s’more’s were well organized and a fun touch— it really is beautiful seeing the stars there. Go for a night, kids will love it. **we went in March when the high temp was 65- the dome was sooo hot in the afternoon. Yes, it did cool off with AC and venting, but something to think about. It was prettt cold in the morning, but the bedding is warm and very comfortable, so we enjoyed the chilliness.

When we arrived at check in, the person checking us in didn’t explain anything about the property. We were told prior to arriving that we could book dinner in one of the outside pods since their restaurant was undergoing renovations, but when we arrived, all the slots were booked. We ended up driving into Tropic instead of ordering and eating in our room. Then we noticed the dome next to us was playing a laser light show which was reflecting in the sky and on the mountain. It was like being in a rave without the music when we were supposed to be relaxing and stargazing from our pod. We were told that light restrictions started at 10 so we had to endure the neighboring laser show. They eventually turned it off, but it soured our experience. On the plus side, the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.

A unique experience - loved the disco themed room complete with the lit floor, silver ball, great music and sound system. Only problem was that it got really cold at night and seemed unable to hold the heat. But really fun to lay in bed watching the stars and full moon. I ordered the trout for dinner and recommend it.

My stay at Clear Sky Resorts was absolutely magical! The stargazing domes are an incredible experience. The clear skies around Bryce Canyon provide the perfect backdrop for a night of star-gazing. The rooms are comfortable, and I loved having a deck to relax on. The outdoor firepit was a great spot to unwind after a day of horseback riding. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique getaway!
