We stayed at this property for a family wedding in Clayton. It was a great house for us, with all the rooms! Allison was great in making sure we had everything we needed when we arrived helping us find the cots

Fisherman Getaway
Spacious and clean rental- great for a large family gathering- close to Clayton, Alex Bay. A nice firepit in the backyard for relaxing after a day on the river. Nice stargazing opportunities too. I would rent again.

Overall okay
Overall, the house was good, but there are a few things that really need to be taken care of. Pros: I spoke directly to the property manager a few times, and she was very nice, friendly, helpful and open to suggestions. The house had a nice layout with a lot of bedrooms and two living spaces. The yard is fenced in and has lots of outdoor seating. Cons: (suggestions were given to the host) There was a very strong urine smell on the main level. I believe it was in the carpet and the furniture. There was a broken chair in the living room that especially smelled strong.(Property manager brought somebody in the very next day to shampoo the carpets and get rid of the chair) Bedroom were very small, especially the two on the main level. One of them had a locked closet and no room for a dresser or anything so we barely had room to pile our things on the floor in the corner. The umbrella for outside at the picnic table was in shreds and wouldn’t open the whole way. The host said she will replace that. Overall, not a bad place to rent, but I would double check that these things were taken care of. Again, the property manager was very helpful and communication was good.

Everything you could need!!!
Stayed at Michael’s for a weekend fishing tournament, plenty of room for our 2 bass fishing boats with room for 2 more in front ours. A little difficult getting backed in with traffic but not terrible. Tons of rooms and beds, huge wood pellet grill, nice living space, 2 full baths. Great communication!!!! It was a great stay can’t wait to go back!!!

Clean and comfortable
It was a relief to come back to this comfy home after a long day of Alex Bay exploration! Very well stocked with paper products, laundry soap, shamp/conditioner, night lights, hand soap pumps and games. Single beds are bunk beds. Ceiling fans and AC, lots of extra blankets provided. Two thumbs up!

Great stay
Great property for a larger group. The property was clean and having an upper and lower living room was great. The fenced-in backyard was perfect for our dogs. Would definitely stay here again.

House is great
We stayed here with our family of 14 people all ages. The house fit us all cofortably as far as bedrooms and living room space goes. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with all the cooking gear you could need. Our only complaints were the outdoors space! There was a large grill that runs off of wood pellets that we had to go out and buy. And there was a mouse nest in the grill with mice in it! We cleaned it and burned it off before we used it. But also bought a charcoal grill to use. The outside area was nice to keep pets in with the fence if you travel with them. but lots of prickers so must wear shoes! The outdoor aread could use a bit of a spruce up. There was also a dead bird. We still used the space outside but had to make do. Back inside there are lots of towels, linens, extea toothbrushes if you forgot one and the two fridges came in really handy. The price was a bit high for the stay over a long weekend with the slightly disappointing outdoor area. But as far as comfort and location it worked best for us in a large group.

Christmas House 2022
This property was ideal for our family Christmas gathering, it allowed all to gather in one place and enjoy each other's company. With the number of bedrooms it allowed 6 families to stay, it was very convenient. House was clean and well stocked with household and kitchen supplies. Was able to get in early which was helpful. Driveway was a little tricky due blind spot pulling out to main road and snow. Was a great weekend, very good rental.

Sweet Spot!
Very roomy, two living rooms was awesome, two fridges was incredibly useful, two bathrooms was surprisingly enough for 11 adults, only complaint is the smell in the rooms weren’t as fresh but nothing we couldn’t deal with.

Relaxing
There were 11 of us including a 3 month old baby and a small dog. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house appeared to be newly renovated and nicely fitted out with new and modern furnishings except for the bathroom tub fixture which is old and difficult to regulate the water temperature. Window coverings were missing from the bathrooms which were taken care of promptly once we notified our host Mike. The location was convenient for us. Although the house is set back from the road, families with small children will have to be careful as the road is heavily traveled. It would be a good idea if the town installed a warning sign appropriately for traffic approaching the property to slow down as coming out onto the highway from the property can be dangerous. At night it was difficult to find the driveway because the road is dark. A lighted sign on the side with the house by the driveway would be helpful. Matters that should be considered and/or need attention are being sent by direct text or email to the host. Overall we enjoyed the week and would return assuming that the points we highlighted to the host are taken and given attention. Our Host Mike was accommodating and responsive when we reached out. The little amenities in the bathrooms and kitchen and laundry were thoughtful and a nice touch. We are pleased to recommend this home for your vacation stay noting the above comments.
