First room they gave us smelled up. Mold went back and complained and asked for a second floor room, which was better smelling, but the shower bar was falling off the wall, and we had to ask for new keys. Every time we came back to the hotel.

Wevspent a night on our trip to midwest. It was okay for a night. Finding parking was difficult. The hotel is old. The breakfast was average. Front desk service was good.

The property is dated and in desperate need of a refresh. Most important would be: You need to put USB/tech ports in rooms and lobby (should be perfunctory), bathrooms are borderline unacceptable, breakfast is almost inedible, fitness center needs new treadmills (they are truly on their last legs), and everything generally smells like you are covering up bad odors with air freshener and it leaves you with a gross feeling. Things that were OK: Beds & pillows were comfortable, staff was fine, but honestly not very knowledgeable about basic things. Overall if I had not gotten a better last-minute rate (reduced from an outrageous $300/night - this is price gauging due to Cincy Tennis tournament) - I would have refused to stay when I saw the actual property in person.

Poor experience overall
There was no ac in the hallways and lobby and it was hot outside where we stayed. The key entry near the pool didn't work well. The hotel person at the front desk took awhile to check us in when we got there and there a fresh stain on the comforter that looked like urine and was kind of big. Also, the breakfast person wouldn't fill the coffee carafe because breakfast was almost over with for the morning and told me to get it from the front desk area with some attitude. There was also very little room to even close the door in front of the micro bathroom, in order to use the bathroom. Not a great experience or good even.
