Hyde Park is such a wonderful neighborhood where people are outside running, walking, and enjoying the shops, especially during warmer weather. The one-bedroom duplex can sleep 3 (queen bed + pull out queen couch) and has all the amenities needed for a short-term or long-term stay. Two TVs, both equipped with Roku; WIFI; off street parking; and full laundry. The kitchen has every appliance you need, cooking utensils, dishes, and a Keurig with coffee and creamer.
You'll feel right at home when you walk through the front door of this home that was built in 1903. It has recently been updated and is ready for your visit!
LIVING ROOM
This room features a comfortable, two large chairs, a Roku TV, a dedicated workstation, and a ceiling fan. There is a window AC unit in this room. There is a queen pull out couch, or you can choose to use the queen air mattress.
BEDROOM
Enjoy the memory foam mattress on the Queen size bed and watch your Roku TV in comfort. You can ensure you are dressed to impress with the full length mirror on hand. Blackout curtains ensure you get a peaceful sleep. There is a window AC unit in this room.
BATHROOM
This cozy space features a tub and shower.
KITCHEN
Brand new appliances for you to enjoy including refrigerator, stove, microwave and toaster. Enjoy your complimentary coffee in the morning with the Keurig. Cozy eating nook included four chairs and a round table, all bar height. There is back deck off the kitchen area. There is a window AC unit in this room.
BASEMENT
This is where you will find the laundry room. Make sure to watch your head going down the stairs - older homes didn't account for how tall we are today!
HALLWAY STORAGE
Hey - why not have something to talk about in this home. Half steps and random shelving are all the rage, right? It’s the perfect place to store all the towels for the bathroom!
FRONT PORCH
This is shared with the other AirBnB unit next door and is a fun to sit and people watch! This unit faces an elementary school, and during the school year, the kids enjoy the playground so you may hear them having some fun! You also have your own small patio space in the back that is private.
PARKING
This unit has ONE parking space directly behind the home. Driver beware, the driveway is very narrow between houses and cannot accommodate larger vehicles. Note, do not park in the driveway between homes, except to drop your items off on the front porch. There is plenty of parking on the closest side street, plus there is parking on the street out front (just not between 3p-6pm on the weekdays - we learned the hard way).
HEATING AND AIR
This home has central heating, which is controlled by the thermostat. The air conditioning is controlled by three wall AC units (two of which are newly installed) located in the living room, bedroom, and kitchen.
This is a duplex and you will have access to all of Unit One.
We are local and here to help, but also allow you to have your space!
Hyde Park is historic and just gorgeous! Hyde Park Square is just a couple of blocks away and it features a small park, shopping and restaurants. Grocery stores are close by as well as downtown Cincinnati! This is also just 30 minutes away from Kings Island and the Western & Southern Tennis Tournament.
You may park in the back of the home or on the side street. The driveway is shared with the neighbors and we ask that you only use it to drop off your items. You may park in front of the home, but be sure you move your car M-F from 3pm-6pm or else you will be ticketed. This home is right in front of a bus line if you are comfortable with that. As well, Uber and Lyft are very prevalent.
Sleeps four when counting either the queen pull out couch or the queen air mattress.
