Located just out of Ferrymead with a private backyard. Conveniently located, it is off the main road yet close enough to be just 15 minutes into the central city, or 10 minutes to Sumner beach. A 5-minute walk to the Ferrymead shops; restaurants, cafes, fast food options and a supermarket are within walking distance.

The colourful holiday house is a family home with lots of character and personality. The four bedroom home comes with four soft and comfortable Queen beds, for a maximum occupancy of 8, with all linens provided. The cute, chromatic, contemporary kitchen comes fully-equipped with cooking utensils and appliances. The dining area also includes a full-set of dining wares. The living area comes with a comfy lounge suite and a flat-screen TV. Laundry facilities are available for guests to use.

The family home is in a great location, handy to lots of shops and destinations. Charlesworth is very handy to the beach, just a 10-minute drive to Sumner beach. The beautiful Heathcote river is just across the road, and the estuary and Charlesworth reserve are just a short walk away. The Ferrymead shopping centre is just a 5-minute walk away from the home. This extensive shopping centre includes a supermarket, Mitre 10 mega, banks, a pharmacy, a medical centre, a gym, cafes, restaurants, and fast-food options. The Tannery is just a 3-minute drive or a 20-minute walk away. The Tannery is an upmarket boutique shopping centre, found in a renovated industrial leather building, that contains some premium shopping options – like restaurants, a cinema, a recycle boutique, clothes shops, and cafes.

Ferrymead is a great location
This accommodation was perfect for us; my son, his partner and my granddaughter on and off for an extended stay. We enjoyed being close to restaurants and shopping. We rented ebikes for most of the trip and the ride to Sumner Beach from the rental has to be one of the best rides in the world! The home is well equipped, with adequate kitchen supplies and a backyard grill. We would definitely book again!

Perfect and Spacious
We are so glad we came accross this house. There was more than enough room, very tidy, modern and comfortable. It was very clean and the location was perfect for where we needed to be. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this property.

Quiet neighborhood, lots of room
My mom, nephew and I stayed here in Ferrymead for three nights. The place was easy to find and had a lot of room to spread out. We used the kitchen for a couple of takeaway meals and found all the necessary plates and utensils. The contact person was easy to communicate with and it was a deal for the time and space we required. One thing we really did love were the window coverings, when down you could see out but no one could see in.

Communication from property managers was not great and was sent extra payments to be made which then changed after getting bookabach to mediate to help sort out. Property itself was really good and warm apart from a couple of items that didn't work such as a heater in one of the rooms and the hair dryer.

Great value for money
Great property, has all the essentials for a reasonable price. Big house but still cosy. Lounge heatpump didn't work but there were several heaters throughout the house so wasn't a problem & could feel the house was warm. Would definitely stay again & highly recommend
