Welcome to Moonrise Cabin, located in the Sasquatch Mountain Resort - an all-season adventure destination.

Our beautiful log home sleeps 10 people, with 3 private bedrooms, a kid-friendly loft and two full bathrooms. The cabin has all amenities for a relaxing stay, including wifi, netflix, disney channel, a firewood fireplace and a large BBQ. Whether you are looking to relax in front of a roaring wood fireplace after a day in the powder, or find a quiet retreat from the adventure of life itself, our cabin is the place to be.

Moonrise Cabin is a 3 minute drive, or a tranquil 15 minute walk, to Sasquatch Mountain Resort (SMR) and its all-season amenities.

During the ski season, SMR offers some of the best powder and shortest lines within a 2 hour drive of Vancouver. Come enjoy skiing, snowboarding, tubing, cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails.

When the snow melts the fun and adventures keep going. Visitors to SMR during the warmer, longer days can test their skills on the amazing mountain-side disc golf course, or catch their breath gazing along mountain-top vistas from one of the many hiking trails. And for visitors of all ages looking to add a real thrilling adventure to their visit, harness up and swing from the peaks on Sasquatch Mountain's NEW Aerial Park!

Our beautiful mountain community is still a sleepy town at heart. Our one local pub, Molly Hogans, is open most days during the winter season and on the weekends during the summer. There is a small store open year-round, which is located at Hemlock Hollow, where you can buy some basics such as milk, bread, treats, toiletries and gifts.

Ski Weekend Family Time
This place suited our family of 8 adults and 1x2.5 year old.It is as beautiful as the pictures, a real log cabin. The fireplace was amazing - couldn't believe how long a few little logs burn and how cozy it made the whole cabin.Besides the drive up in the heavy fog, it was an easy drive and quick! The potholes in the side roads are impossible to miss, make sure your vehicle has good shocks. (must have snow tires or mud/snow and chains) at this time of season.Kitchen is fully equipped for making meals for a large group. The bedrooms were the perfect size, the beds were fine for a couple nights (we knew it wasn't luxury top of the line, served their purpose). You can hear thought the walls and ceiling so if you're a light sleeper, bring along earplugs.Close to the lifts/lodge etc for skiing.Would have loved to stay at least one more night!Great family gathering.THANK YOU for our memory making weekend.

Quiet, restorative weekend in the mountains
Our stay at Zoe’s property was exactly what we wanted. The quiet log cabin tucked in the mountains gave our family time to relax together. We read, we played games, we went for walks and the kids enjoyed Sasquatch Mountain’s aerial park. Zoe’s cabin is set up perfectly. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen is impressively stocked with supplies. The beds are wonderfully firm. The space is comfy and you immediately feel at home. Communication with Zoe was seamless and the check-in / check-out process was a breeze. Our stay couldn’t have been better!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Everything worked properly and the place was spotless. Having a beer as we lounged on the deck was so relaxing after driving for hours. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need…except the food. Loved the upstairs fireplace and that supplied more heat than I expected. Zoe was a great host and you can tell that she wants guests to feel at home.

This cabin is everything you could hope for in a mountain getaway. It's a cozy layout with great mountain views right from the main sitting room. It has separate living areas, which is great for a group that might want to do different things. I hiiiiighly recommend this for anyone looking to escape to nature.

the cabin exceeded our expectations, the warmth and build of the place really makes you feel safe from the cold, rainy nights. beds are comfortable and the cabin has many little amenities such as board games, an old school nintendo, and a big bin of legos for your kids. was a beautiful cabin and my friends and i wont forget this trip. only thing i have to warn about is the mice. we did manage to catch two with some traps so make sure your food us stored away and the kitchen is kept clean from crumbs and such. other than that. was an amazing time.

The Moonrise Cabin was spectacular. The views of the mountains was stunning. The cabin had everything you would need for a comfortable cozy stay, with a well appointed kitchen. We would recommend this property and would stay again.

We had a wonderful time at the property and would certainly go again! It’s a beautiful home that gives you a true cabin in the woods feel. The host was super responsive and answered any and all questions we had very fast. The area is remote and does have a gravel road to get to it so make sure your car is prepared and you have everything you need with you for your time at the home!

Great family getaway
Moonrise cabin was a perfect property for our March break mountain adventure. We found it to be roomy, comfortable and cozy, spotlessly clean. While other properties claim to have well equipped kitchens and actually fall quite short, this is not the case at Moonrise. Everything we needed to prepare meals for a family of 10 was there and most importantly, in good condition. The views out to the slopes and surrounding mountains are beautiful. Zoe is a great host and does everything possible to make your stay a enjoyable experience.

A wonderful host and terrific cabin. Everything you need to be cozy and relaxed. Beds were comfortable with warm duvets (my favorite). Quick drive to mountain for skiing and then come back and relax to warm cozy cabin. We played cards and watched tv (netflix and disney) Kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. Firewood galore we were toasty all day. Zoe was easy to reach and provided all the information for check in and out so nothing was in question. Will stay again for sure next year! Thanks for helping us make memories.

Perfect therapeutic getaway
I met up with several other therapists for a weekend of processing in this quiet, serene location. Zoe was a responsible and communicative host. We enjoyed the fire place, cribbage board, and ability to cook our own meals. The location was difficult to find as gps was easily confused. Overall, loved our stay!
