Stay here every year when I visit Chico and it always seems to get nicer. Upstairs rooms are the best, so clean and updated feels like a luxury hotel. Staff is always super friendly and professional. Great location to be at if you want to walk anywhere in downtown.

After a long and tiring drive over the mountains and forests from Eureka, we got a very warm and friendly welcome at Quality Inn Chico, and we were very pleased with the facilities in our room, and a big shout out to housekeeping, who had made sure our room was fresh and clean and perfect - a great way to relax after such a drive! Our room backed onto the street behind and I was woken at 5am by a garbage truck emptying the trash, so if you’re a light sleeper you might want to ask if you can have a room elsewhere, but this is not a complaint at all from me, just a recommendation for other potential guests. Overall very pleased we stayed here!

My hotel room was better than I expected, specially for the price. And it had room service! It has been quite a while since I have had my room cleaned throughout my stay…that was super nice. Fresh towels, my bed made and room cleaned- that’s a vacation! They had a hot breakfast with waffles…which was nice. Unfortunately I am on a gluten and dairy free diet and could not partake. But if my family had gone with me they would have loved it. I was staying on my own and I felt safe, which was important. I walked several times to downtown and visited the farmer’s market. There is a great natural food co-op just across the street from the hotel which has delicious healthy hot food and healthy treats. That was a major find and I highly recommend it for anyone that has special dietary needs. My only issue was that my neighbor was a smoker and smoked right next to my door. Perhaps the smokers should be grouped in an area of the hotel.
