A lovely comfortable stay in the middle night of a walking weekend with a friend. Lizzie gave a very friendly welcome, great communication beforehand, and an excellent breakfast!
Charming little English Village of your dreams. Beautiful countryside vistas, Pub’s to die for and welcoming community. All with the best B&B hostess ever!
Beautiful part of the UK, fantastic pub with really good food about 5 minutes walk, 14 minutes to Chichester, 12 to Midhurst, on the doorstep of Goodwood, and stunning walks right from the B&B. The host was friendly and very easy going. Definitely recommend!
Lizzie is such a lovely and attentive host. Gorgeous cosy and fluffy bed. Absolutely amazing breakfast- quality bacon and beautiful bread. We booked for Goodwood Races and the location was very convenient. We loved our stay.
Lovely little relaxing weekend. Liz is a wonderful and confident host with brilliant local knowledge, excellent breakfast skills and a sense of positivity about everything. Made our stay so much more enjoyable. The local pub is good, and The Partridge Inn (next town) is a skip across a lovely field. There are beautiful walks in every direction too. A local bus connection to Chichester allowed us to explore the local craft beer bars and get some fancy grub.
It’s walking distance to the stunning Weald and Downland museum that is perhaps the most impressive of it’s kind in the world, and certainly in the top 5 UK museums, just from the sheer scale of the project.
We took the largest room and I’m glad we did. Comfy bed, TV, bath and shower. Milk was left in a little thermos each day. Watch out for the house dog because she is wonderful and will steal your heart!
Lovely place, a small village, in the countryside not far from Chichester town centre.
The owner of the B&B was very welcoming, made you feel at home.
Would definitely stay there when I'm in Chichester again.
I did not stay long enough for breakfast but the room was tiny and lacking basic furniture such as a chair and table. Large chest of drawers is useless to most people. Bed cover was probably too heavy for the season. Bathroom though private was across the corridor which was inconvenient. I had to park away from the building and the housing development in a public road. On the plus side, landlady was friendly and helpful.
Beautiful stay, lovely room, gorgeous location right in the middle of the rolling downs. Perfectly placed for a walking trip or a jaunt to beach. We felt looked after and warmly welcomed. Great local tips, too including the best beaches and a cracking local pub - The Partridge. Will be back again soon.
Staying at The George Inn as part of our 2021 staycation. Chosen as allowed us to visit Longleat safari park and then Bath b4 heading our next port of call in Wales.
I cant pay high enough praise. The hotels.com lot cocked up our booking....but not a problem the staff swung in to action. First piece of advice book direct for best price!
The rooms are stunning, great views of the village. Clean and great amenities perfect for a couple on a night away or a family ready to explore. Clean, comfy and equipped with everything you need.
The Staff her are amazing so warm, welcoming and couldn't do more for you. They made a fuss about my 8 year old daughter and were great to chat to about the area etc. Food is amazing proper hearty pub grub with a bit of style. Great selection of drinks including some local Wiltshire cask ales. Breakfast was immense and the girl working breakfast is wonderful.
Nunney itself is gorgeous so picturesque and a stroll around the castle and church is a must.
Wonderful stay, thank you to all the amazing staff at the George made a big positive impact on our holiday.
