Was very clean! Temperature was too cold at first, then too hot. Hard to regulate. The desk guy did try to help. Loved being close to front door and pool!

I was nervous as I booked it through a 3rd party, hotels.com. I had never done so before. However, when I checked in there were no issues finding my reservation. I had been on the road for 16 hours driving and arrived prior to the 3 pm check in time but they had my room ready for me so I could sleep. The desk clerk took an interest into why I was there (my son was graduating from navy boot camp) and wanted to meet him when he came to visit after graduation. Another clerk allowed me to borrow a broom to sweep the snow off my car when it snowed overnight. We are from Texas so we don't usually have to deal with that and the rental didn't even have an ice scraper. All in all, I was pleased with my stay and will recommend it to other families in the future who are looking for a place to stay for graduation.

My husband and I stayed One night after a full day of Christmas shopping at Gurnee Mills Mall. Exhausted and ready to relax, we checked in and were given a room on the first floor. Upon walking into our room, we realized the thermostat was very warm. My husband immediately turned AC on and pushed temps down to get the room cooled off. After about an hour or so, we realized the room was not cooling off. I went To the front desk and spoke with Katherine. She immediately apologized and began looking for another available room for us. She found one form the hall and immediately changed us to the new room. This room was an upgrade, but she did not charge us for the upgrade. She was very nice and wonderful to Work with. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Katherine for you quick response and solution. To our problem.
