Perfect Wrigleyville Hotel for a solo traveler.
This was my second time staying at this hotel. The location was perfect for the activities I had planned. As a solo traveler, I appreciated how close it was to walk to my destinations and how easily accessible it was to the trains to get me there from the airport. I felt safe walking around alone, which is a huge selling point for me. Hotel staff was always around and cleaning. I love this place. I’ll definitely be back to stay again and again.

Checked in on my birthday as I prepared to visit Wrigley Field for the first time. As a lifelong baseball fanatic since the early 70s this trip has always been a bucket list item. Thomas at the front desk made sure to offer early check in and even had champagne sent to the room. From start to finish the staff were helpful, considerate and accommodating.

I am overly picky about cleanliness and odors. This hotel was perfect- not a trace of past people and decorated beautifully. Comfortable bed, nespresso machine in the room- delicious- extremely friendly and accommodating personnel. Kind of ruined every other hotel for me. Why can’t they all be Hotel Zachary?

I’ve stayed here before but this time they weren’t as accommodating. I also do not understand why they close the bar deck outside at 10:00 when we only have so many beautiful evenings to enjoy the outside. We came back to the hotel to enjoy a cocktail and the weather and they wouldn’t let us sit outside. That deck was the main reason we chose to stay there.

Nice hotel, a few suggestions to make it perfect…
Hotel is nice and new, great location with mostly solid service but for the price, is not equivalent to some of the 5 star hotels downtown. It’s the little things like having a side table next to both sides of the bed in the room to rest a drink, phone, etc. and would be ideal to have an outlet on each side of the bed. We also had three people in our room but only had two towels (which were small for my 6’ tall husband), fine for someone smaller but tiny for taller individuals. We struggled with luggage and dogs in and out of doors twice and while the front staff at the door were friendly, they didn’t rush to help us by opening doors when we were struggling. Front desk staff was fabulous. Rooms were very quiet, even if you had noisy neighbors you could hear from the hall, could not hear them when in the room. Very nice hotel but for the price, it really could smooth out a few tenacious expect at that price point. The hotel was very per friendly!
