We travel to the Chicago area to visit family and we choose this hotel every time. It is nicely tucked away just 30 minutes North of the city center. The layout of the hotel is very nice, with the breakfast area, restaurant and bar in the middle of the ground floor. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and clean and offer plenty of comfort. They are pet friendly which is nice when travelling with furry companions. The atmosphere is peaceful with lots of live plants around the entire center floor area and spread throughout the hotel. Highly recommend.

Property needs updated. Looking very dated. Isabel did a wonderful job making our omelets. Only one person working front desk at night meant that she had to go help someone and put up a sign saying she would return soon. She came back after 15mins to me and another guest waiting for her and the phone ringing. Get that girl some help at night.

Happy hour consisted of pretzel bites and potato chips with queso dip. Room service was supposed to be available until 10 PM, but we were told that the person that could bring the food to the room had already gone home. The hotel agreed to fix the food, but we had to go down and get it. It was presented in a brown paper bag, and we got to juggle the drinks back upstairs. Expensive but no service. Would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was perfect for my family of 4. We were there for my son's navy graduation. It was only a 20 minute drive from the navy recruit base. The breakfast was convenient and delicious. The sofa bed provided the extra bed we needed to be completely comfortable. I highly recommend

The happy hour was a fun bonus. The only thing was the pull out bed was pretty gross. It was dirty. It definitely had not been cleaned and the mattress smelled pretty bad.

Comfortable and convenient
The hot tub and free breakfast are the best perks. Sadly they have changed from glass to disposable plastic cups since my last visit. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Close to the highway, easy to get around if you have a car. Quiet if you stay on the side away from the road, but you can hear the highway if you're staying on that side.
