Beautiful Historical Pullman Rowhouse located in a wonderful neighborhood!!

Welcome to historic Pullman which was declared a National Monument in 2015. This row house was built in the 1880’s as part of America’s first planned community. The property features an unique facade on the exterior. It has three bedrooms, one full bath and a half bath. The living room, dining room, half bath and large kitchen are all located on the main floor. There is an Amazon echo located in the living room for additional assistance. All bedrooms and full bath are located on the second floor. There is a full basement and garage that is inaccessible to guests. The property has a fireplace along with stainless steel appliances. The master bedroom has a queen bed with one bedroom having a twin bed and the other an office with a futon. There is also a cot for extra guests. The bath has been recently updated. The guest have access to a microwave, coffee pot, blender, iron, blow dryer and other amenities. We have doorbell camera located at the front door for deliveries and added security. The National Monument visitors center is a 5 minute walk from the home. The Cafe is just a short walk as well. The Metra train is a 10 minute walk from the home. The Metra can get you to downtown (Chicago Loop) in 30 minutes. There is a $10 weekend pass per person that covers rides for both Saturday and Sunday. Up to 3 children under the age of 12 can ride for free on weekends with a paying adult. There is also a 15 minute Metra ride to Hyde Park/University of Chicago/Museum of Science & Industry.

Pullman is one of our unique neighborhoods in the city of neighborhoods. Please be sure to take in all of our architecture and history while visiting. You will be staying in one of America’s few National Monuments that happens to be a beautiful neighborhood with an important American backstory.

Beautiful Historic Home
To start off, this property is in the historic Pullman neighborhood. Its very quiet. This is not in a busy area but there is a few corner stores and walmart near by. We enjoyed the very welcoming notes, goodies and helpful information the owners provided us to navigate their home and the surrounding area. Nothing was forgotten. My only not a 5 star rating and it's not even a bad thing, is the space. This home was not designed in the time of today obviously and the room spaces are a bit tight. Other than that our stay was excellent and we would stay here again.

Amazing!!!
We had a great time here, the house was very nice and cozy. My husband and daughters loved it! The neighborhood was very quiet and calm. Almost everything you need is provided for you. The house is not too far from Chicago. I would highly recommed staying here, im sure you will enjoy it. 💗

We spent 2 nights at the cottage and wished we could stay longer. Wonderful to have the opportunity to step back in time and stay in such a historic place. The cottage is very comfortable and clean. Very quiet location acros the street from a park. Felt safe and had no concern about leaving our car on the street. Owner could not be more helpful, fast to respond to questions.
