Classic Style, Modern Comfort
Cozy, well-appointed rooms. Fridge. Safe. Great aircon. Heaps of hot water. Nice, family-run and friendly property in a part of the old city that still maintains its original charm. Lots of great local markets, restaurants, and coffee shops nearby. Excellent value for money.

This is a cute hotel in a very convenient location since it is right next to a small night market (great street food every night!) and a morning fruit/produce market. I stayed here for a bit over a week and I would happily have stayed longer. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and generally kind, she made me feel welcome every time I came back to the hotel.

Great Hotel in Old City
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! A little distance from the main areas in the Old City. However, It is very close to the Chiang Mai market which has incredible street food every night. Also very close to a great massage at Wat Pan Whaen and coffee at Clay studio. Free ice cream in the lobby is also a huge perk.

Great place, much like a B&B!
The staff at Huen Hug were so friendly and kind. They were able to answer all of my questions and had lots of flyers on tours around the Cory. Breakfast was included every morning and they had plenty of options to choose from. The location was amazing and extremely walkable. I walked everywhere from this little hotel.

Pay a little more and get a lot more.
The Huen Hug deserves the high rating it has. The staff is great; they are very helpful and speak English. The place is upscale and impeccably run. Wifi works very well. Breakfast is very good. It's in the old walled city, but on a quiet street.

Very nice hotel in the old city of Chang Mai.
My stay in Huen Hug Hotel made me feel that I was in my own home. The warmth welcoming and hospitality of the owner (aka "MAM") and the staff were well worth remembering. Though I am traveling by myself, I felt like I am not alone and this hotel is like a home to me.
