The Buri Gallery is very well located in the centre of Chiang Mai Old Town. The staff is excellent and very responsive and the Thai massage you can book via them is amazing!
Cute boutique hotel with a near-unbeatable location in the Old City. My wife and I stayed here 4 nights in December 2019 as part of a month-long honeymoon in Southeast Asia. The room was nice, a little bit dated (shower and TV especially) but decorated in traditional Thai Lanna style, but what really made this place for my wife and me was the staff. The manager Kang and her friendly, accommodating staff were just delightful, and very helpful. They provided activity recommendations for us (the cooking class they recommended was one of our highlights for the whole trip!), pointed us to a hospital when my wife got ill, and even gave us sweet little honeymoon gifts. The included breakfast was also delicious, as were the cocktails (use the half-off coupons and take advantage of their generous happy hour!). Overall, we would be happy to stay here again.
I stay in Buri Gallery for 2 days in a Villa which i think it was good , everything was great from check in, to breakfast, everyone is so nice and helpfull. The only problem was the bathroom had a bad smell ,it was really strong you could smelled it from outside the bathroom and the shower had a water lick and it was to high up. Beside that everything was great. Thats why i wouldnt give them a 5

Nice staff and location to stay
Staffs were nice and helpful, location pretty close to most of the attractions, spa and night markets. The only thing that we were not happy about was they changed our room since 2nd night, claimed there was electric problem in our original room, and the new room has leakage problem in the bathroom... Although the staff tried to fix it everyday, it doesn't solve the problem. Other than that, everything's nice.
Great place! Just what we needed for a quick sightseeing stop. Close to things in the evening and easy to get out for the day. Nice homely feel to this unpretentious boutique hotel.
Villa room fantastic, hotel fairly good, great live music and chilled out bar next door, but if you meed to go to sleep before 11pm (for what ever reason) beware the music, you can't. Otherwise - great place for old town Chiang Mai, with all you want close by but not invasive.

Good quality/ price ratio
The location is great, next to a convenience store and many restaurants by walking distance. The hotel is a little outdated, but the bed is comfortable enough and the clean service is good. You may have trouble with mosquitoes or other bugs.
The breakfast is not buffet but its ok quality.
Facilities: Nothing special; Value: Acceptable price; Service: Friendly; Cleanliness: Nice;

First Time Chiang Mai
A small issue first up as our booking didn't seem to have been received but the reception lady kept working on this and resolved the problem. This meant that the room we booked wasn't available so we were upgraded for the first 4 nights of our 6 night stay. The Buri Gallery House could be described as quaint but it is located within the old walled city so fits with the city's heritage & tourism concept. Some things could do with a repaint. The rooms are good size although a bit cluttered with 'period' furniture. Bed comfortable with clean sheets, air con, well cleaned daily. Good pool. Great location. All staff friendly, efficient and very helpful. Good breakfast. Had a great time and would recommend Buri Gallery

Best Location!
This place was adorable!!! I loved the decor, it was in the "typical Lanna style" which for folks who haven't read much about Thailand was the kingdom that once ruled in Chiang Mai. We found the staff incredibly sweet, efficient and eager to serve us well. They gave great recommendations and went above and beyond. I loved the we could step right out into the "Sunday Walking Street" market and a few more steps to the nearby Wat. Its right on the course of Lonely Planet's recommended Walking Tour of the Old City. Also, the pool was a VERY welcome relief after trekking all day in the heat, humidity and mud!

Pleasant stay!
The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They really make the experience what it is.
The rooms are like many Thai guesthouse rooms - sort of thin walls BUT they are very cutely decorated in colorful Lanna design. Which, made a real difference. Breakfast included was great! Free internet helpful!
This is a notch above your usual guest house, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it a high-class boutique hotel. I did stay on the ground floor - maybe the top rooms are more plush. Then again the ground floor rooms weren't cheap.
I recommend. Family friendly, not overloaded with annoying partiers.

Friendly place for back packer
Verry friendly and helpful staff. Good and central location for back packer which needs a lift up.
No place for business people or people who are looking for a resort.
Ideally situated, Buri Gallery is a very charming hotel. I really liked the style of the house the hotel was built in, very authentic style with lovely bedrooms (the sink in my bathroom was a beautiful hand-painted ceramic, the towels are folded are elephants, the doors to the corridor are old wooden doors Thai style). There is a pool close to the reception with loungers, which I found very refreshing after a long day walking around the town. The cherry on the cake for me was the staff and the fact the hotel is also a tourist information desk. The staff was very helpful in advising how to make the most of my two days in Chiang Mai. If I come back, I will likely go back to Buri.
