Downtown home away from home

This place is your stylish home away from home, right in the heart of downtown Cheyenne. Located on the second floor of a beautifully preserved historic building, enjoy a meal from a local restaurant within walking distance or prepare your own meals in the nicely outfitted kitchen. Enjoy our local shops or a cozy night in. Ultra secure building is safe and private to the few who have building access.

Long term guests staying more than 2 weeks will need to arrange an additional refundable cleaning deposit or schedule regular cleanings during stay (for an additional cleaning fee)

Portable AC is available seasonally, typically between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

The following is a list of what you can expect to find in the unit.
Consider it a “starter kit” if you will…. Hopefully it will give you the time you need to procure any additional items you may need. If something on this list is not in the unit, please let us know and we will do our best to get it to you ASAP.

Check in is anytime after 4pm and check out is anytime before 11am. In order to allow our cleaning staff the time needed to properly clean and prepare for your stay, we typically cannot allow an early check in or late checkout. An early check in (12pm-4pm) or late checkout (11am-12pm) can be requested for a fee of $25. This will be dependent on availability.

I don't live on site, but we are available between 7am and 10pm. Call anytime for urgent needs.

CANCELLATIONS at any time will incur a 6% refund fee.
A shared keyfob is used to enter the building. It is located in a lockbox on the main door. It MUST be placed back in the lockbox after using to open the door. Failure to do this may result in a $25 fine if we have to track down the keyfob. If the keyfob is lost or damaged, there will be a charge of $50 to replace it.

There is absolutely no smoking (cigarette, vaping, pot, etc.) of any kind allowed anywhere in the building.

The owner of the building does not allow pets.

in a nice area, if you want access to night life and dining. The room is right above main night life street. If you want to go to sleep before 1030pm it is difficult due to the street traffic noise that goes on until midnight.

I loved staying here! It was spacious and comfortable with lots of amenities. It’s right in the downtown area, plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance. It does get rather noisy during high traffic times and on certain mornings when the pub below gets their food shipments at 5 am. Some of the windows don’t seal all the way which makes it noisier. But I never felt like the windows were a problem—I never once felt unsafe. It is right next to a tattoo shop and an alleyway, but the building itself felt very secure. There is reserved parking provided immediately adjacent to the door. It’s double keypad protected, one to get into the building and one for the room, which is in its own hallway. It can get tedious. The place is very old, so certain things are different. As is usual up north, there’s not much AC. There are radiators in every room if it gets cold. You have to be careful how much electricity you use at once so you don’t short the circuit. Other than that, it’s a normal apartment. Pots and pans are in the cupboards and the oven and stove are fully functional. There’s a full size fridge, good for extended stays. Furniture includes a firm king sized bed, a futon, and a dining room table for 4. As a last note to the hosts, I would suggest a longer shower curtain. The water kind of gets everywhere if you shower for more than a second. TLDR: Homey, historic, secure, roomy, a little noisy, good for price.

Plenty of access to lots of downtown shops etc. good parking. Access to highway very near as we went on day trips out of Cheyenne daily.

Comfortable great location
This small apartment was comfortable and right where we wanted to be. Lots of charm and fit our needs perfectly. Within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. We just needed a one night stay heading home and wanted to be close to the old depot (nice brewery and restaurant - Accomplice). Very quiet building and only a bit of street noise, but not bothersome. Would definitely stay here again.
