Check in was a breeze. We were 15 minutes from our NYE destination. The staff is wonderful. Breakfast at the Hampton inns are always good. My only qualm is that the breakfast is not always ready at the 6:00 a.m time as advertised and the interior could use a good deep cleaning. The pool was wonderful, heated and clean! Definitely recommend!

The staff is excellent at the Hampton Inn-Suites Chesapeake Battlefield Blvd. They will go out of their way to listen to your concerns and make you feel welcome. There are also many dining options located in walking distances from the Hampton Inn. You will not be disappointed. The atmosphere at the Hampton-Inn Chesapeake Battlefield is very comfortable. Breakfast is served in the mornings and coffee is available in the lobby all day long.

Room smelt like weed but was overall clean besides the pair of shoes left in a drawer from previous guest. Hot tub was broken which is unfortunate as that was the main reason I picked this location for the indoor pool/hot tub combo.

First room was dated, damaged and smelly. Did not seem to be current staff's fault. Unprofessional service by night desk staff was his fault. This person will prevent me from rebooking this hotel. Update the rooms!

So, so.
Our room was spacious and clean. We are impressed with how comfortable the bed was the layout encouraged relaxation. However, the room’s phone was not working. They did not have breakfast the first morning. The lady said the juice machine was broken. She said that was why she couldn’t make the biscuits and gravy because she was cleaning up juice. the second day the breakfast was dry and it made our stomachs hurt. The coffee was fresh and flavorful.

Nice stay for a Thanksgiving trip to see family. Staff were superb - friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was ok - a little sparse due to the holiday. Rooms could use a little extra maintenance and/or upgrades (some minor issues with plaster in the tub:shower) but very clean and comfortable. Great for a family stay.
